'Room was clean and brand new. The bathroom door was a bit weird to get closed but for the area, I was very happy with the accommodations and would stay here again. '

'There was a very strong air freshener smell when entering the building as well as in the room. The floor in the lobby and in the bathroom in the room was very sticky. Your shoes stuck when you walked. There was no hot water in the morning to take a shower on the days we were there. There was hot water in the afternoon. Breakfast was good and had a good variety. We would not choose this location again due to the strong odor of air freshener. It was nauseating. And not having hot water available...

'This hotel is not associated with Hotels.com anymore. I booked my room one year in advance and I got there and there was no vacancy. This business needs to be removed from Hotels.com so it doesn’t happen to somebody else. It was very frustrating and I had to buy camping gear last minute at Walmart, which was very costly. '

'I stayed at the cottage while attending the Walnut Valley Flatpicking Champoinship in Winfield. It was the perfect retreat for me. The bed was comfortable, I loved the air conditioning and the quiet. Dexter is a beautiful town in a beautiful part of Kansas. The cottage had everything I needed. '

'The Bird House was our overflow lodging when our extended family came home to Winfield for Christmas. It was perfect for the needs of a family of four including a one-year-old and a three-year-old. The rooms are large and impeccably clean and they were able to have the baby sleeping in one room while the toddler played in another! Although I didn't stay in the house myself, I was delighted by the fun Christmas decor, and the screened-in porch would be perfect for morning coffee during warmer...
