'Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! I got such refreshing, restful sleep every night in this absolutely quiet, tiny (but airy) playhouse of a cottage, thanks to the super cozy and comfy bed! It was all just so sweet—even if, as I did, you just want to hang out and read as you listen to the rain all day. Grand Marais is only eighteen minutes...

'What a wonderful place!!! Our family of 4 (13 yrs and 10yrs) loved staying at this resort! So much to do. Free activities along with extra for a bit extra. Had BBQ dinner buffet served by the owner of the resort. Very friendly staff and the lodge we stayed in was very clean. Beach is great for all ages and free kayaks and canoes were the cherry on top. Thank You!!!'

'If you're looking for a glamping type experience, this is a great place to stay! We found the cabin to be very clean and comfortable. 'This place was more than we expected; welcoming, peaceful.'

'We loved Jo's place. Very comfortable, and "easy to operate" because she gives great instructions. The location was fantastic. We enjoyed a bonfire out back, and spent a lot of time on the back porch, or in front of the stone fireplace. We made all of our breakfasts and a few meal there. The kitchen is well stocked with useful tools and appliances. Highly recommend it to anyone!'

'Beautiful, spacious condo with plenty of blankets, towels, etc. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and our family of 13 had a wonderful time. The lodge is close by and you have access to the indoor pool and hot tub as well as the outdoor pool. Jereme was always quick to respond to any questions we had before our stay. He even provided tips and suggestions for things to do while in the area. We would definitely stay there again, it’s one of the best places we’ve...
