'The cabin was awesome. Beds were great and comfortable. The Wi-Fi wasn’t good, so don’t expect to be able to work on line. A very nice grill was available but filthy as were the utensils to use it. We weren’t aware that the restaurant isn’t open Monday through Thursday. Thus you need a find a place to go and eat. A microwave was available and a coffee pot with enough coffee for two pots. No plates, or plastic wear available and no stove. The office was completely closed for our two day stay....

'I was there on 7/29-7/30. I did call the morning of to confirm my room with a dog, as I had booked it online a week earlier. They said I was all set to go. I arrived roughly 9 pm the night of check-in, and a room was not blocked off for us. Luckily, the gentleman with a ponytail at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating and ended up letting us use a room that was not specific to dogs after his manager had Ok'd it. 'Clean, quiet, comfortable. Three nitpicks kept it from a full 5 stars: 1. Biggest problem is that the place is hard to find the first time, if you're not sharp-eyed. Once you know where to turn, you're OK. 2. My room didn't have a microwave, but it wasn't worth rasing a fuss over. 3. The place's cable TV didn't carry Detroit Tigers baseball. Workaround - listened to the game via satellite radio app on my phone'

'This was advertised as "rustic" but was actually beyond rough. Dirty and in disrepair. Unsafe and unsanitary. Missing smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector. Dust and grime built up in the vents and windowsills. Black mold on the walls and ceilings. Messaged with the host ahead of time and was mislead on the state of this accomodation. Found it was totally uninhabitable. Took photos and reported to VRBO and was fully refunded by the platform based on those pics alone. '

'We checked in. Walking into the room there is a strong odor. There is no soap, towels, toilet paper and I look at the beds… they are rumpled and there are pillow cases missing. 'We would have appreciated if outdoor was cleaner. The “beach” also was not swimmable. Host is very nice. Thank you for your hospitality otherwise. Inside was clean, cozy, and full of entertainment activities.'

'Everything was great. It was quiet and had a beautiful view of the lake. We were in the area for a wedding, and the ability to have a place for my fur babies was the deciding factor for the cabin. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet getaway.'

'The better then tenting is an accurate description for this property. I wanted a nice relaxing camping experience and that is what I got. The cabin was decorated with a lot of cool items and felt cozy. The bed was comfortable and enjoyed the indoor bathroom and suitable shower much better than an outside bathroom.
