'Beautiful. It was quite cold when we got there but that fantastic wood fire heater had the whole house warm and cosy in no time at all. It snowed when we were there and since none of us had seen snow it was a really magical experience. Although there is a cluster of houses where this place is there was no one else there which made it very private. Will definitely return. '

'What a cool place to stay. If travelling to a remote mystical place isn't enough, step into this absolute comfort zone. Tucked away down a funny dirt road, this place is THE PLACE you want to arrive to. Space, fireplaces, ability to cut wood, go and entertain in the openness of the kitchen to those relaxing by the fireplace of a very generous lounge area. This is luxury after a day's travelling. Devine!'

'Perfect spot. Homely, tidy and really well set up with everything we needed.So cosy with the fire going and with a beautiful view down to the lake. A stones throw to the waters edge (and the pub!).Fabulous!!'

'Ideal location, neat & clean. Property owner very helpful responding quickly to my queries. Appreciated electric blankets & gas fire on a cool winter’s night. Old Hamilton Inn excellent for evening meal & breakfast. Picturesque town with plenty of history. Well worth the visit.'

'We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by. If you are after elegant, refined and well finished accommodation...

'Super verblijf gehad. We hadden een upgrade naar een cabin met een losse slaapkamer. Speciaal voor ons was ook de bbq nog klaargezet. Mooi uitzicht. In de cabin was alles aanwezig qua servies en pannen wat je nodig had. Schoon en netjes Ps. Zwembad in Mole Creek is gesloten. Er is nog wel een zwembad open in Caveside ( poolroad) . Wandeling naar Lady lake hut is de moeite waard. Maar let op 4km onverharde weg naar startpunt is nét te doen met goede 2wd, maar zeker geen makkie. '
