'Walking distance to Saturday market👍'

'When choosing this beautiful location we were originally looking at staying in Opotiki (15 kms south) but decided this was a far better option based on the ammenities and views offered. The price was also less than staying in your standard motel in town. Our host was there to meet us and made us feel most welcome explaining the options and set up. He recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner ( The Royal) and we weren’t disappointed at all. The surrounding area is rich with native birds...

'Was good except we found the single beds uncomfortable. We woke up with sore backs. But apart from that it was good.'

'We really enjoyed our stay at Belle Mer. Apartment was nice and clean. Excellent location close to town and absolute beachfront. Enjoyed walking along the beach.'

About 10 minutes walk to the main shopping/dining area with plenty of restaurants if you want to eat out. The only minor disappointment was the...

'The host is flexible and really lovely to communicate with. We loved our stay, the apartment was beautiful, clean and modern. Easy to find and convenient with parking right outside our unit. The only improvement to note would be the pillows. Very satisfied, would return :)'

'Room was amazing, better than some hotels that I’ve stayed in. Very clean, great amenities in the room, next door to the Plaza shopping centre.'

'Place was exceptional. Not sure about what happens with the service. Do we wash the towels ourselves and make the bed. We went away to golf for the day and the towels had not been replaced and the bed was not made. Our dishes were still on the bench so I cleaned it all up myself. Looked through your listing'
