'The staff are incredible. Sail went above and beyond to get me here and everyone is so welcoming. They remember names and where everyone is from. I don’t know how they do it but I have never met a more welcoming people than those in Fiji, especially here. They have snorkel gear, kayaks and paddle boards ready to be taken out at anytime. 'It's a good place for your first night of last night before you go to the islands. Don't spend too long here. The beach is dirty and the sea too. Don't expect a white beach and blue water. The food is expensive, just go to Bamboo at the end of the road to get lunch and dinner, much cheaper and better. It's a good place for just one night as it's close to the airport. Also try the local bus!'

'The staff were really lovely but our experience was a little lacking and the hotel is not ideal for toddler families. We somehow ended up on the ground floor off a halway connecting reception and their restaurant in a comically enormous "family double" room with 4 king beds for the three of us. Not an issue in itself but a funny outcome. Travelling with a toddler we'd requested (and twice confirmed!) a cot to be brought to the room.
