'I’m pretty sure the room wasn’t cleaned at all prior. For $30 more just go to bowling green and get a room. The electric tape held the shower head today and lamp cord/lights. But the long black human hair was EVERYWHERE! I should have requested a refund but at least other people know now. '

'Hosts are very attentive and respond quickly to any questions or needs! Loved the views of lake from the back of the house and easy access to boat docks at edge of property. Note: photo is when water levels are highest- sprint to fall. House is extremely well prepared/supplied and has anything guests would need. 'Great stay, in keeping with the description. Nice kitchen and gathering space. Would have liked a table more conducive to playing games, but not a big deal. It was a cold weekend. Heat and AC worked well with a total of 4 thermostats plus the electric fireplace. Steps were not ideal for the age of some guests but that was my fault not the property owner’s. My husband and I spent three days prior in Tennessee looking for places to relocate. We came to explore the Barron River Lake area for the same reason. 'We had such a relaxing stay here! Everything was comfortable and clean. Very secluded property. We had a fire outside and roasted marshmallows, enjoyed walking in the woods down to the lake, and just got a lot of much needed R&R. Kitchen had all the pots and pans I needed for cooking, and we also grilled one meal. WiFi worked great which was perfect because we had two sons on fall break from college who still had some online work to do, and my husband had a work emergency he was able to do...
