'The property was located in the heart of the town. There were lots of grocery and dining options within walking distance. The beach was a short drive away too. We were able to drive to many scenic places like Akiyoshido Cave and the quasi national park from there. The house was spacious and very clean. 'This is an old school honestly, but with nicely separated living spaces (shred bathrooms). Not squeaky clean, and a bit outdated…but human and not without charm. The owner is a super courteous dude. You may need a car as it is a few kilometers 40 minute walk from the train station. The payoff is the silence and chill vibes out here. I enjoyed my stay. '

'Clean, spacious, with everything provided, including detailed instructions for appliances. Far better than a standard short-stay rental. We were in Hagi on the first hot day of the year, and the AC was fast, effective and a lifesaver - in both living and sleeping areas. The location was ideal - walking distance to the core sights and a 5-minute walk to the central welcoming center and an electric bike rental, which was key on a hot day for zipping around the atmospheric streets.
