'we had a wonderful visit. everyone was very friendly and the resort had a good vibe. You could tell the couple that run this place, enjoy their job and made us feel welcome. When we arrived there was pork butts slow roasting in the smoker and a nice fire in the fire pit. They were catering to a group of hunters and showing them a good time. 'My wife and I stayed here with our puppies to celebrate our 15th Anniversary. The property is very nice and the host was very helpful and very responsive. We had a relaxing time, enjoyed some of the local sights and eateries, some reading and some fishing. Enjoyed seeing deer and other wildlife. We would definitely stay here again.'
