'This hotel is well located to local historic sites. The room was spacious and sparkling clean. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Parking was convenient. The bar and tender were great. The concierge gave great alternative day trips because of the closure of the FDR Library and those suggestions were well worth it. Happy to have stayed here.'

'Stayed one night on a Sunday, because we didn’t want to drive home in the dark after a three-day walking pilgrimage from the Lake is the Blessed Sacrament to the shrine of the North American Martyrs. Room was quiet, bed was comfortable. Pool was good for swimming laps (entire pool is also 4-1/2 ft deep). Fridge in room was not very cold but the desk staff kindly put our food items and ice pack into a service fridge/freezer for us. Breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay here again after...

'Historic hotel with plenty of things to do'

'Amazing ambience, lovely scenery upon the bank of Hudson. Easy drive to Hudson and Bard College. The only thing to mentally prepare for is that life is not as fast paced as NYC. Go with the flow and be nice to the staff because during high season they take care of lots of people without up staffing. '

'We had an excellent experience- from kind staff at check-in and out-out to clean, bright rooms, comfortable beds, and easy parking too. PTAC units in excellent condition, temperature remained comfortable at all times.'
