Baseball weekend
The property was clean and close proximity to Bend and Sun River. The owner did add some nice touches like fresh baked cookies. The bed downstairs was awful. The description was accurate, but somethings would have been nice to know ahead of time. First off, the bathroom shower is tiny. It is smaller than most rv showers. My husband at 6 foot could barely move around in there. The stairs down from the second story are very narrow and steep. I slipped once and slid down a few on my bottom. The bathroom is on the first floor and kids had to navigate stairs at night. Also, listing stated there was AC which is not true. There are a couple of fans. This is not AC. We have a child with medical issues that cannot regulate her body temps well, so when temps get hot we NEED AC. The room upstairs where she was got very hot. The temps did cool down in the evenings so we were able to get her some relief from open windows. Finally, the owner was in constant communication. She started messaging before we got to her house and continued throughout our stay. She lives right next door and met us at the door when we arrived to give us a tour and inform us of the property's quirks. She texted me several times to invite us to view the river from her deck. While generous, I have never had so much contact with an owner. Some may appreciate this constant presence but for us it was just too much. Overall, the stay was good for the price, but we won't stay again.
