'We loved everything about the property. It was very clean with everything provided that we could possibly need. The location was secluded but close enough to the resort, restaurants and the owners club (which we could access with the provided access cards). We loved sitting on the back porch. We loved the whirlpool which we used to wind down at the end of every night. We are looking forward to renting the property again in the future.'

'My sister and I stayed here for a girls weekend with our teen and preteen girls. We had a wonderful time. The house was clean and fully stocked with all you would need. 'We really enjoyed our stay at this Galena rental. It was very clean and the 2 1/2 bathrooms were great! The wrap around porch was really cute and the fire pit was a special addition to the end of our evenings. 'We loved the distance from downtown; easy to find, very clean and such a roomy and cozy home on a beautiful property. Nice that all 3 rms have a bathroom. Beds were very comfortable! Owners were very nice and answered all our questions accurately. Accessibility to get in house could be challenging for some due to steps to entrance. Loved wrap around porch! Overall, we definitely all agreed we would come back here when in Galena.'

'Quick response to our question when we got there. Quiet and peaceful, I never heard the barges go by. Easy to find. Short drive to town for groceries and to Maquoketa Cave State Park. Daughters thought their beds upstairs were a little hard (personal preference), but the one downstairs was very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen. Best set of skillets I have seen in a rental.'
