Welcome to beautiful, pet-friendly Mountainview Townhouse, your perfect four-season retreat nestled in a quiet, wooded setting at the base of Schuss Mountain in Shanty Creek Resort.

This end-unit condo in the popular Sudendorf community offers a bright, open living space with a modern-rustic feel. The recently updated kitchen flows into a comfortable dining and living area, perfect for gathering after a day of adventure. Relax on the leather couches, enjoy the retro fireplace, or stream your favorites on the Smart TV. The deck features a private gas grill and peaceful woodland scenery with a view of the golf course and ski hill.

This home is ideal for families, with thoughtful touches if you`re traveling with little ones, including a crib, a Pack `n Play style crib, children`s books, and dinnerware.

An open-concept layout boasting a stylishly renovated kitchen with a huge island with seating for the kids and beautiful granite counter tops. The kitchen opens to a comfy living space for your whole family, full of natural light. The roomy dining area has seating for 6–8 people, and an awesome retro wood burning fireplace for the chillier “up north” evenings.

Sleeping / Bathroom areas

First Floor Master Bedroom: Features a new adjustable queen bed with cotton linens, a Smart TV, dresser and closet storage. You`ll have a full bathroom with a stall shower right across the hall, and all towels are provided. A new, stackable washer and dryer are located in the bedroom closet for your convenience.

Upstairs Bedroom: A spacious room with an adjustable queen bed and a view of the green at Schuss golf course hole #2. There’s a smart TV and plenty of closet storage space for clothing and your bags. Portable fans are included and stored here if needed.

Upstairs Loft & Game room: A fun-filled space for your whole family - with a built-in retro gaming system, a private balcony with seating, a large Smart TV, and a convertible futon/bunk bed that sleeps three.

Upper Loft: Accessible by a ladder from the gameroom, this private space has two twin beds.

Upstairs Bathroom: A full bathroom with a custom-tiled tub/shower combo.

For your comfort, most rooms have individual heaters and A/C units, and there is a ceiling fan in the main living space. High speed Wi-Fi signal is available throughout the condo. Roku cable channels are provided, and feel free to stream your shows on Netflix, Prime and other providers!


Other Details to Note

Mountainview is only a two-minute drive to the ski lifts, ski rental and cross-country ski/snowshoe trails. You`ll only have a two-minute walk to the Schuss Mountain Golf Course Pro shop and golf course.

End-Unit Privacy: The condo is an end-unit, offering you and your group extra privacy and a quieter experience.

Entrance Steps: Access from the parking lot to the front entrance involves a short walkway with 6-7 steps.

Plenty of parking is available for you in the condo complex parking lot.

Laundry: A combination washer/dryer unit is available for your convenience on the first floor.
A hairdryer and clothes iron are provided for your use.


The Pools

Your stay at Mountainview includes complimentary access to some great pools to keep the kids happy 😊

- The complex-only outdoor pool. Located directly across the parking lot, only steps away from your front door! This pool is exclusive to our condo community and great for kids of all ages. It is open from Memorial Day to shortly after Labor Day. It includes tables and chairs, as well as sun loungers.
- The outdoor pool at Summit Village, with a panoramic view of lake Bellaire (open from Memorial Day to Labor Day)
- The indoor pool at Summit Village (open year-round)
- The indoor hot tub at Summit Village (open year-round)

All are within a few minutes’ drive, and are accessed by a key card at the property.


And enjoy a fantastic range of other shared resort amenities:

The Lakeview Hotel has a great fitness center / gym and is only a 5 minute drive from the Townhouse. The hotel sells reasonably priced day passes at the main desk.

Lake & Beach Access: You`ll find shared access to the beautiful nearby lakes, including stunning Lake Bellaire and Torch Lake. Locations to public access, marinas and boat launch areas are provided to all guests.

The Avalanche Bay Indoor Water Park at Boyne Mountain is only a 30-minute drive from the Townhouse. While you’re at Boyne, check out the world’s longest timber towered suspension bridge, spanning two of Boyne’s 500-ft peaks.

You will have private access to the entire townhouse, ensuring a comfortable and exclusive stay. Enjoy seamless self-check-in with a secure keypad. (Detailed arrival info is provided when you book). We are always available 24 hours via the app or by phone / text should you need any assistance or have questions. After you book, we will send you detailed arrival information and a comprehensive guide we’ve created over the years with our very favorite places to eat, drink and have a wonderful Bellaire vacation with your “people”! 😊
