Nestled in the picturesque village of Belford the cottage is four miles from Bamburgh and nine miles from Wooler and is ideally placed for exploring the beautiful Northumberland coast and Cheviot hills. The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout to perfectly complement its rural surroundings. Each room is filled with character, from the cosy living spaces to the welcoming bedrooms, providing a true sense of countryside living. The property benefits from free on-street parking too.



The Space:

This beautifully refurbished three-bedroom cottage in Belford combines modern comfort with timeless country charm. The property has been thoughtfully updated, offering a cosy and stylish home that retains its rustic appeal. Wooden-style doors and warm, natural finishes throughout enhance the cottage’s inviting atmosphere.



On the ground floor you will find a bright and airy open living space. With a beautifully equipped kitchen as the focal point, you will also find a dining table with seating for up to six guests. Following on from the dining area you will be met with two large, comfortable sofas that sit facing the log burner. The bricked fire place is the main feature in the living area, and creates that cosy feeling that everyone loves in a home from home.



On the first floor you'll find a delightful king-size bedroom, a comfortable double room, and a bunk bed room, making it perfect for families or groups.



The cottage boasts two bathrooms. The ground floor bathroom features a stunning freestanding bath, ideal for relaxing after a day spent exploring the nearby countryside. The first floor bathroom benefits from a large walk in shower with a rainfall shower head.

Brilliant

Perfect location for what we wanted to do. House is well equipped with modern appliances and decor. Fantastic shower in upstairs bathroom, perfect for 2 couples (and two younger children in bunk beds if you have them). Belford is a small village with very friendly people (especially the Black Swan - great music night on Sunday and Quiz on Thursday if that's your vibe). Close enough to get to towns (Alnwick, Berwick), castles (too many to mention but Bamburgh and Alnwick are the best) and natural history (Farne Islands for birdwatching). Overall a great stay!
