'Perfect! Large house, well equipped. Good food in the restaurant and a very nice view and friendly staff. Borrowing a small (peddle) boat is included which is nice to use with children.
Staff unfortunately did not speak English and the restaurant inside was not very charming with bright white lights and a strong smell of cheese. Dinner outside was good. '

'Marta was a perfect host on a brand new spot in Belmonte. We were amazed by the beautiful architecture and details of the place! We extended our stay because we couldn’t get enough of this hidden gem in the Serra da Estrela! We hope to come back again!!! '

'Een ontzettend mooi B&B, prachtige kamers met mooie badkamer met alle gemakken voorzien, prima bedden. Vriendelijke eigenaren die een ongelooflijk ontbijt serveren.
Wij hebben al heel wat B&B aangedaan, maar deze is echt prachtig.'

'Location is perfectly situated in peaceful surroundings yet short drive into town, absolutely beautifully decorated inside and outside, family owned by wonderful people who made us feel more like family than renting guests, breakfast served to your table with homemade honey, marmalades, and meats/regional cheese, and fresh bread! Our room was comfortable and had a nice view of the mountain…a/c worked quietly and efficiently. Bathroom small but shower had hot water and ample room to place...

'The hotel is situated halfway up the hill, overlooking the softly winding Douro River and its surrounding landscapes.
