'Checking in was awful as they tried to sell us a more expensive room with all kinds of excuses. Fine if you want to upgrade us for free, but don’t start with all the nonsense. The rooms are in need of an update. Would not stay here again.'

'Everything in the room felt damp from the bedding to our clothes after 2 days. Some surfaces not well cleaned. The whole place feels tired. The breakfast was good!'

'Staff was very accomodating. Really enjoyed the place, a bit old timey but for the price you cant beat it. Free Coffee in the lobby was Ok. Free bkfst, was yucks...but no worries Mcd up the road 3 minutes. Loved the manager and his family, they work hard to keep things nice.'

'Unique, attractive small property in a beautiful wooded setting. Large rooms, nicely furnished. Rustic feel, but definitely not "roughing it".'

'It was nice. The studio room was huge and gave us lots of room to spread out. Cookies and mints in the lobby were a nice touch. Breakfast in the morning was good. I especially liked the potatoes. Definitely would stay again. The pool was not real warm but definitely clean with towels provided. The hot tub was not in service but as it was roasting outside that didn’t matter.'

'There was a horrible smell in the room. The staff told us that the smell was coming from the pond. From where we were staying, I did not see a pond. They had two air fresheners in the room which was overpowering. We took the fresheners out and the room. We stayed there for two nights. We only slept there, spent no time. Sleeping was long enough. I found dead bugs in the bathroom floor.'

'Really enjoyed my stay here! The breakfast was ok, sausage needed to be more cooked. Nice having coffee in the lobby for 24 hours. Location was great and near a lot of things. Room and facilities were clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the area and festivities going on during our stay! I would definitely visit again and recommend to others. Thanks for a great staycation!'

'I saw a sign when I checked in on the counter. It said 8/10. I think this is about right. It is summer time, so you are going to get bugs in the room. Also, the toilet sang all night. That is, it was noisy. Other than that, it was a pretty good stay.'

'We booked for 5 but there was no extra bed available for the 5th person. The carpet was sticky. The coffee was terrible. The wifi is only free if you give all your information to sign up for their priority program.'

'There was no office. Front of building including restaurant appeared shut down for renovations. No sign out front. Trashy people hanging around various places outside, so I left and found another place to stay.'
