I have stayed in hotels all over the world and I have never in 40 years been so welcomed and so appreciated and so helped even with the minor things like asking for a pen and they gave me a handful. If I ever traveled to Vancouver again, which I’m sure I will I will never stay anywhere else. I used to like the Heisman Lodge, but this place is nicer rooms and better hospitality.'

'This building is VERY rundown and looks nothing like the pictures posted online. Peeling wallpaper, wires hanging from the ceiling, stains on furniture, hair embedded in the sheets, etc.'

'Goed en schoon hotel. Wel net over de grens in de staat Washington. Je denkt omdat je Portland boekt in de staat Oregon te zijn. Dat was even een instinkerdje ook omdat de TomTom nu redelijk in de war raakte!'

'The room was great (except a unique closet/storage setup). It’s great to be right on a beautiful park! The hvac was pretty loud but effective. Otherwise good sleep. The staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of restaurants a short walk away. Great for pets.'

'I come here every month for several days and the staff feel like family. They are so friendly and helpful. I like the little store for snacks or more. The rooms are well stocked, and have an easy chair along with a comfortable bed, kitchen and desk area.'

'For a cheap hotel, it wasn’t bad. Better than most motel 6s. It is nicely located next to a freeway. I felt safe there, the neighborhood is safe. Right in front of a dispensory. The only negative is that the building is old, but overall clean.'

'Place is new or recently remodeled. Everything was fresh and clean. Rooms include a kitchenette that we did not use. Breakfast is ordinary self-serve and got the job done.'
