'I like to be honest: the hotel was close to the road: I did not expect that, so we ask for a room not so close to the road. We were given a quinszise, while we payed for a kingsize bedroom. There was no refund what so ever… that felt a bit disappointing. The room was oke, the bathroom small. However our stay was oke, we did swim in the swimmingpool, and had a dinner not so far away from the hotel ( we could walk) but the surroundings are not so fun. The city however was great! We loved San Luis...

'This was our 2nd stay at the Avila Village Inn. It is a hidden gem adjacent the Bob Jones Nature Preserve. When you walk in to register, you are met with a winding staircase, large stone fireplace and comfy sofas. There is also 24hr coffee and tea available for guests. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And check-in was smooth. We booked a room in the main building which is older than the new buildings. I believe the new buildings are the trail view, forest view rooms and suites.(verify...
