We wanted a week of beaches, fishing and relaxation, and this place was perfect. I am an amateur birder, too, and there were so many species, including Great Horned owls who visited the tree off the deck many times. We caught a speckled trout and a redfish right off the dock, though they were a bit undersized. I loved having the fish cleaning station on the dock as we had sand trout and some black drum that we caught in the surf to prepare for cooking.
The house was clean, and the washer and dryer were used every day. Just note that if any kitchen supplies are not in the listing then they are not there! Other VRBO places I've stayed in had more in the way of kitchen staples, but this one did have more cookware, including a giant roasting pan and a gumbo pot that my mom would have loved. I would stay here again.
