« We had a lovely stay at the Gray Barn Carriage House. It was so quiet and peaceful! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed was large and comfy, and there were plenty of reading nooks and sofas to relax on after a day on the hiking trails. We miss it already. »

« We had such a nice week at the cottage! Loved the location on the quiet side of the island, especially being able to walk down to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse to watch the sun set. Our boys loved playing in the huge yard. And the cottage was clean & gave us plenty of space to hang out between our outings exploring Acadia. »

« Perfect location on the “Quietside” of the island. We used the cabin as our home base for hikes and exploring Acadia, which is about 30 minutes away. The hot tub and fire pit were perfect for unwinding after long days in the park. Diana and C were very communicative and helpful, and we’d absolutely stay again on our next trip. »

« Small coastal town,. I would say, if you want to have a lot of shopping and choices on eateries, this isn't the place for you. There are a few shops and a few dining places that aren't open every day. The property is right on the water, exactly what we were looking for. Perfect place to watch fishing boats and the tides. Rooms vary a bit and there are some that do not have a water view. The Angelique is an end unit which is nice and I would assume keeps noises to a minimum (althought...
