'We booked 2 rooms for nearby Amherst College graduation. The hotel worked out perfectly (although we didn't get to try out the famous dining halls as they were already closed for the year), staff were always nice, the onsite parking at $6 was convenient and we were constantly amazed at how fast the elevators were. The only dings we had were the temperature control in the room was wonky - it got really hot and the a/c wouldn't come on because we were told the temp OUTSIDE was too cold? As we were...

'My mom and I stayed here for two nights while we were in the area for the Brimfield Flea Market, and we had a wonderful experience. The house is spacious, clean and comfortable, and Heather is a great host. Both breakfasts were very nice. This is a great little bnb where we felt welcome and relaxed. 'Loved the Black Walnut Inn. I would love to go back. The rooms are lovely. Breakfast is delicious. A very generous spread. Self-serve tea and coffee is available at all times in the dining room area. There are also treats one can help oneself too. Chocolate chip cookies our first day and molasses cookies the second. Meghan bakes the best cookies. Seriously, the best. The owners are very warm. If we visit Amherst again, staying here would be our first choice. Thank you.'
