Good Times in Central Barcelona

Check in was very easy using FISA’s codes for the building and unit entrances. The unit was very clean and was just as pictured on line. The location is ideal - close to everything including metro stops, many restaurants and las Ramblas. As noted in previous reviews you do hear quite a bit of street noise, but it was okay for us.

About a week before check in received notice that the unit's AC unit was broken and couldn't be fixed in time! They offered a 20% discount to stay there. The week looked pretty warm, so we asked for 50% but they did not take it and cancelled the stay. There was NO WHERE ELSE to stay in the area we wanted so we ended up renting an apartment at Hotel Avenue Suites (Derby Hotels) for A LOT MORE MONEY. I suspect they got a higher offer for the unit and got rid of me. How come they couldn't get it fixed in a week? We have used VRBO off and on for years and are now not happy!

Great, clean stay near La Rambla!

My mom and I had a great stay in Barcelona here! The unit was very clean, the bed was comfortable. It was also walking distance to subway stations, main touristic areas, and felt very safe! Check in was very easy as well. The kitchen was very well equipped and very conveniently had a washer/dryer in unit. Although it is located in a bustling area, we did not find that it was too loud. I would recommend to anyone thinking of visiting Barcelona.

Great property in a great location!

Great location to explore Barcelona. Apartment was very comfortable with all the amenities that we needed. A market right outside the front door. Close to the hop on hop off bus tour. Plenty of restaurants and shopping. Highly recommended.

Great stay

Our stay was amazing in Barcelona, the apartment was close took everything. Las Rambla was only a couple blocks away and Metro was practically at our front door. The apartment was well equipped with everything we needed. The only thing we noticed were the upper shelves in the bedroom needed dusting and the couch sat a bit low for us. But overall this is a beautiful apartment. We loved the care packs in the unit. One for coffee & tea, one for kitchen and bathroom. The communication was always quick and appreciated. Thanks!

First time in Barcelona

This property is perfectly located to reach all the locations you might visit. It’s one block from the Placa de Catalunya. We walked everywhere. The property is well managed. Be sure to click the links in your reservation confirmation for instructions on completing your rental information. We neglected to do this but the staff did a great job assisting us with completing the information after we arrived in site. We would love to go back, especially to this rental and location.

Very noisy

There were communication problems from the start which made check in much more difficult than necessary. The apartment is in a very noisy location as well as feeling the subway rumbling below on a regular basis. The apartment itself is quite nice although rather small. The bathroom has a need for a few repairs too.

Absolutely Lovely & Charming 1 BR a block from Ramblas

Booked this really charming 1 bedroom in a super clean and quiet building central to Ramblas and Gothic Quarter and could not have been happier. Communications conducted in English without issue, property team were accessible and provided clear instructions on entry. Lots of supermercados (mini grocery stores) next door and around the corner, plenty of food options (and check out the asian supermercado if you want to cook meals at home). Kitchen is cute with 2-burner induction and microwave, nice size refrigerator and a full-size bed in bedroom. Unit also has a combi-washer dryer for clothes. Really delightful time in this place, highly recommend. The location can't be beat. Couple of subway stops just outside door and 1 block away, lots of shopping, easy to find taxis.

Modern, clean, up-to-date apartment in great location

Great apartment close to Catalunya place. One issue though, the apartment door doesn't have a deadbolt or chain so anyone with a key can open the door when guests are there. This has happened to me multiple times in the past, fortunately I had the chain on the door to alert the person a guest was there. Once I was woken at 5am when the owner didn't realize I had rented the apartment the night before. So I consider the lack of a chain a privacy/security isse.

The apartment was located in the heart of Barcelona! One block from the start of Las Rambas and the Gothic Quarter. The apartment was very clean, very roomy and comfortable. The only complaint was that we had cigarette smoke waffle in I assume through the vents? Very strong at night!

Perfect city apartment!

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights. It was just what we needed - the place was very clean and modern, well equipped, had laundry, and the bed was really comfortable! The apartment was in walking distance to everything and super central. The check in process couldn't have been easier and the rental company was very easy to communicate with. We had to leave our luggage at their office after check out and it was a really nice office in a safe area. Highly recommend!
