Apartment in Barcelona, next to the famous Sagrada Familia church. Its strategic location will enable you to explore the city of Barcelona quickly and comfortably. Within 10 minutes on foot you will the most emblematic sites along the city's modernist route including the Hospital de San Pau, and la Casa de les Punxes, within 10 minutes by metro you can get to the city centre, directly to the main avenue in the city, the Paseo de Gracia where visitors can see some of Gaudi's other works including La Pedrera and the Casa Batlló and from there you arrive in a few minutes to Plaza Catalunya and las Ramblas. A few minutes' walk away from the flat is the Sagrada Familia metro stop (L2 and L5)
In the area surrounding the apartment there are different bars, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, leisure pursuits both day and night and also the Tourist bus stop.

Pluses and Minuses

Plus: neighborhood is very conveniently located. The terrace is lovely! Bed is firm and great water pressure in the shower. Clean and roomy. Minuses: we had a lot of difficulty with the key to the apartment.The properly manager had to come and meet us because the top and bottom keys were stuck in the lock and we couldn’t get in. We appreciate that he was responsive. When he got there, he explained that we shouldn’t use the top key - but how would we know that? It wasn’t in the directions and communication overall was spotty. Not any check in during our 5 night stay to see if we liked it, or needed anything and no response to our message that we were out early on our last day in case they wanted to start cleaning. Also only 2 full size towels were provided for the whole stay.

Comfortable for 3 campanions visiting Barcelona. Close to tourist sites and great restaurants, as well as groceries. Easily one of the best locations - walking distance to metro stations.

Conveniently located apartment fit our needs

Two blocks from Sagrada Familia, the apartment has easy access to subway and bus lines to most venues. There were coffee shops, restaurants and grocery stores galore that we could walk to. A small balcony with table was nice to enjoy coffee on and take in the neighborhood. Kitchen was small but we ate out. Combined dining table sofa area provided enough space for breakfast, snacking and devices. Window rollers and A/C allowed us to manage heat and sun comfortably .The beds and pillows were comfortable though the comforters were too warm for the weather. Bath towels were skimpy and a bit rough. This being Europe, the washing machine and dishwasher were small and located on the inner balcony with clotheslines; we lost a sock to the apartment below. With a very early flight in we were at a loss as what to do with our luggage until checkin time at 3 and there is no on-site landlord. We appreciate that were able to put our luggage in the room when the housecleaner came but it was a bit confusing. There was no clothes hanging space in the single bedroom, only shelves. Hot shower water was plentiful but the bath could use more horizontal counter space and towel racks to accommodate 5 people that the apartment sleeps. Nothing to do with the apartment but watch your valuables immediatel around Sagrada Familia as a family member had a phone stolen.

Barcelona - eine tolle Stadt

Die Wohnung liegt ganz in der Nähe der Sagrada Familia, ist gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Supermärkte, kleine Restaurants in der Nähe. Leider sehr hellhörig, Ohropax solltean dabei haben. Wohnung ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, bei mehr als 4 Erwachsenen wird es aber sehr eng. Das Bad muss dringend renoviert werden wegen Schimmel an der Decke! Sauberkeit absolut in Ordnung, Abwicklung der Anmietung super problemlos.

Fabulous location

Fantastic location with a less than 5 minute walk to La Sagrada Familia and the metro stop. Extensive metro system will take you most anywhere in Barcelona. Apartment was clean, tidy and plenty of space for our family of 4.

This apartment was in a great location. It was very walkable and close to public transport. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable, perfect for our family trip. The one thing that could be improved is that there was not enough household items provided (toilet paper, dish washer pods, dish soap) for the amount of people and amount of time we were staying. We ended up needing to purchase our own. Overall a great stay!

Overall, experience in Barcelona was wonderful and our VRBO was excellent. It's location was easy to access public transportation but also easy walking to numerous tourist spots in Barcelona particularly Sagrada Familia. MY ONLY complaint, is it would've been nice to have easily identifiable shampoo/soap in bathroom and maybe some single use tea or coffee - but those things were would have been nice, not big deal. Overall VERY happy with this VRBO!

Wir haben die Wohnung im Winter mit Home Office genutzt, um dem kalten Winter in Deutschland zu entfliehen. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet (Küche, Internet und TV). Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung hätte besser gereinigt sein können und ist an der ein und anderen Stelle heruntergekommen. Aber für uns war das im Rahmen. Die Wände sind dünn und man hört auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern den Lärm der Stadt. In der Nähe der Sagrada ist sehr viel los.
