'Guys please stay here. You will not regret it. The owner (Rito) met us within 5 minutes on the grounds and had a beer with us. He is Swiss and his wife is Filipina. They live on the property as well which is a bonus (any questions he is right there). He will give you direct answers to any questions and will work with you on any issue. 'The location is great, right at the beach, the staff is nice, the food was good but the rooms are not comfortable at all. For a price of more than 3000 PHP you would not expect a 1 square meter (10 square feet) bathroom. You you have to take a shower in the toilet bowl or sink'

'I spend 10 days in Marlin Beach resort and enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are bare but spacious. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I arranged for the resort pick and drop off at Cebu airport and all went well and felt very comfortable as a single (female) traveler.'
