'Excellent'

'Ruime kamer met zithoek, echter uitzicht op de binnenplaats.geheel kan wat extra verlichting gebruiken.'

'Grote goede kamer en bed. Douche in bad. Goede, weliswaar openbare parking voor deur: gratis, want hotel regelt parkeerkosten. Lift met kamerbadge, wat veiligheid verhoogt. Bar met uitzicht over rivier. Dicht bij kasteel en centrum van Athlone.'

'Great stay. We enjoyed our time and the hosts were very helpful with suggestions for the area and stops to make in our way back to Dublin. We had a full day to make the 1.5 hour drive to drop of our rental car. Neil was able to give us some great stops on the way.'

'It's a decent place to stay. The staff is great. Just aging and so many little details in poor condition. And now this isn't the hotels fault per say but very noisy. Walls were paper thin and could hear other rooms talking and TV playing. Heater was on in my bathroom and the knob was broken so couldn't turn it off.'

'Marie was such a kind host! We had a lovely stay. The room was spotless and the bed was very nice. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast as well. Marie sent us off with some sightseeing recommendations too! Highly recommend.'

'Tip voor motorrijders een parking zoals je er eentje zou wensen voor je moto, het hotelgedeelte typisch Engels en het restaurant met grote porties en behulpzaam personeel. De bar moet een groot aanbod Ierse whisky.'

'There was a lot of messages to read and i found the automated "virtual" check in and check out a bit clunky and unintuitive. I had to phone recepgion for help with both processes. I prechecked in and wojld have benefitted from a confirmation stating my key would be waiting. Coffee machine but no coffee. Post the WiFi and password more prominently'

'Good, quiet location. Spacious rooms, great comfortable beds and easy parking'

'Lovely hotel with great amenities and lovely grounds. Room was great and a very generous breakfast served each day. The restaurant was a bit pricey however, food is delicious with good portions. Staff all very helpful. Will stay here again.'

'Floors not clean. Washing machine full of dirty water. Bedding was adequate. Shower got barely warm. You get what you pay for. '

'Beautiful property for relaxing in. Warm, clean and gorgeous views. Well equipped with all we needed for our stay. '
