'We had an amazing time. We wanted something away from our busy daily life and get the kids away from everything and off the phones. The lake was beautiful and basically your own private lake. We only seen two people while there. We checked out the little shops. Garden market was my favorite they had great baked goods. We checked out some trails and stopped at a small beach for the day. 'Loved staying at Jennifer’s house in the middle of the woods at Bryce Resort. So close to nature with deers and chipmunks around in the area. The house is spacious for a family of 5 with three teenage kids. All facilities where available to use and communicating with Jennifer was easy. Would highly recommend this house if you want to relax in the nature and explore this part of Virginia'

'The cabin is quirky, but comfortable and well provisioned. The hot tub and fire pit are nice touches. The paths from the parking area to the cabinet from the cabin to the river are easily usable. The river itself while pretty and making a lovely sound, is very unevenly rocky, and consequently not readily accessible for in-water fishing and wading purposes. Because the cabin is multilevel, there are steps between different portions of the cabin. Glow tape on steps would be a good safety...

'After paying $300 for one night, they said we took their wet, used bath towels and proceeded to charge us an additional amount the next day. They were left in the bathroom after we showered in the morning.'
