« If you are looking to stay at the Italy Inn, you should know that it is the upstairs of a large convenience store. Not much there in ways of amenities or scenery, but it will do in a pinch. « I did enjoy my stay at Fairfield. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. What I didn't like is the Hallways were hot and miserable. AC was not working. I also recommend putting non-slip stickers in bathroom and more than one handicap bar. I am disabled and fell while in the shower. I was unable to get up by myself. I had to wait at least 15-20 minutes before my daughter got there to help me up. »

« The staff were very kind professional and very responsive. The lodging appearance looked ok but closer look was a filth! Outside the door were dust if one were to lean on the wall!, sheets are not beinchanged from previous used on both beds in room I booked - stains of body fluid including blood on the sheets. The towels are filthy with stains ! The microwave was very very disgusting, inside is rusted both ceiling and floor of it . I managed to use it to heat water for tea in a paper coffee cup...

« Honestly I would advise spending as much time as you can at the hotel. Waxahachie has a lot of fun things to do but you won’t find more history than inside the hotel. »

« I needed to stay overnight somewhere because I was traveling from Houston to Arlington for World Cup. This hotel is conveniently located right between Houston and Arlington, about a 25 minute drive to Arlington. It was very clean and tidy, and breakfast was included. »

« Has a nice gym, and the pool was nice but had alot of bugs in it everyday. We stayed three nights and they didn't clean the room any of the days. We have a baby and from the baby crawling on the floor her legs we dirty. Floor looked clean but needs shampooing. Also where the carpet meets the hallway the carpet is coming up. So for over a hundred a night stay not worth it. »
