'this is not a chateau but merely a las Vegas style facade of it. Rooms are ok but lacked a 2 person seating area, view was on the roof of the attrium. Food at restaurants, including breakfast, was outrageously high and what were called the refined dining venues lacked class. Tacky is the word.'

'The interior was white glove clean. The grounds were well groomed. A truly nice place to stay. We certainly appreciated the security measures in place. Also the local law enforcement was very visible. All needed amenities were in place. Rates are reasonable. Thank you very much. '

'John is a gracious host who welcomes guests into his home and gardens. I especially loved the friendly farm animals, fruit on the vines, and the pool which has an extra shallow end for young kids and is long enough for lap swim.The TV-free atmosphere was much appreciated.'
