Woonboten in Assateague Island

'I love the fact that the bedrooms are comfortable and clean, the passes to get umbrellas and chairs on the beach was free. The staff was over the top helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good too. They also gave us a discount at the restaurant next-door, which was very casual and very good food. They charge for parking, which was a surprise, but when you get free umbrellas and chairs on the beach, good breakfast and all these other amenities, it makes up for it. I highly recommend...

'This area of the boardwalk can be shady at night but if you are about the pool and beach its perfect! The staff made it for us. Flora left us towel animals and she was the sweetest.'

'Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The guests next door were loud until around 5 AM, and although we called the front desk around 2:30 AM, the issue was not resolved. We also had a dispute regarding a cash payment for a late checkout that staff said was not in the system. The situation became stressful, and we left feeling frustrated. I hope the hotel improves its customer service and handling of guest concerns.'
