Blokhutten in Assateague Island National Seashore

'Stopped in Chincoteague Va on our way home from the Outer Banks. The Anchor Inn was an adorable Inn. Clean and comfortable. Our room had a balcony that faced the sound and we enjoyed the Sunset and a beautiful view with your coffee in the morning. The Inn is part of Marina Bay Hotel & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel. We definitely will stay there again'

'De kamers waren in orde. Koelkastje en eigenlijk alles wat hè nodig hebt. Het pand zelf ziet er beetje verwaarloosd uit. De reling van het balkon is hier en daar kapot, niet geheel veilig. Het ontbijt is naar onze Europese begrippen erg matig. De ijsblokjes machine deed het wel maar zag er vies uit. '

'The location is beautiful. The cottages at first appearance are also very nice. The issue was with the cleanliness. There were some built up dusts and smells. Our cottages bathroom had a sweaty feet wet sock smell. The shower leaked so I’m assuming some repairs need to be done and this was the source of the smell. We also had an ant problem but it is that time of year and ants can be very persistent. I ended up with some very suspicious bug bites that were lined up. It was either fleas from it...

'I liked the 1800’s vibe with all the antique furniture and decor. The bar and restaurant are above average but can be a bit too noisy as it is full of local regulars.'

'We booked a 2 night stay and we left after the first night. We nearly slept people above us were banging and talking and jumping and next to us there were kids you could hear them all times. It was the worst stay I ever had . We went in the hot tub the bartender kept calling for some one to turn it back on they turned it off and the lights while we were in the hot tub The bartender kept apologizing, she called the main office with never any assistance'
