Dat de lift buiten gebruik was (al geruime tijd blijkbaar, gezien eerdere recensies), was voor ons geen probleem, maar voor iemand die slecht ter been is kan de trap een uitdaging zijn. Zou hier zonder bedenkingen opnieuw verblijven. '

'Het hotel is een prachtig oud gebouw met een schitterende tuin. Daarnaast is het gelegen in een hele mooie wijk. Dat zijn de grote pluspunten. Helaas is het onderhoud van het hotel achterstallig... Ook waren de monumentale trappen niet schoon. Jammer! Het personeel is wel heel aardig en behulpzaam, dus ons verblijf was al met al prima, zolang je je maar niet stoort aan het helaas ontbreken van netheid.'

'Checking in to the property was easy and the room was clean and the kitchen well stocked with supplies. The apartment block however was incredibly noisy as there was a lot of street noise and noise from within the building from upstairs. The bathroom had horrible hospital flooring and the sink and shower were very small. The bed also was incredibly uncomfortable as the mattress had been worn down on one side leaving a lump in the middle. I also paid a little extra assuming I would have the room...
