'Excellently managed room, secondary glazing so absolutely no noises from the road. Slept very well, but i do think a kingsize bed would fit in the room. It could be a slight squeeze, in the main, very comfortable. Shower room absolutely spotless. Breakfast was super. Nicely cooked full english as well as cereals, fruit, yoghurt etc.., not too much on the plate but enough for a full day ahead. Good selection of teas.. A real find as we enjoyed a christmas ball at Goodwood. If we come over this...

'The room was really hot as there is no A/C and the window only opened about 2 inches. However, there was a fan in the wardrobe. Sadly, though, the fan operated on a two hour timer, so I was up every two hours or so turning it back on. Not conducive to a good night's sleep. The bed was comfortable enough, though I don't like feather pillows. The shower curtain in installed too far into the bath and constantly sticks to you. Annoying! I didn't use the WiFi, and the TV was fine. The water...

I normally come back to the home (or to the Hotel ) late after work, the night staff are amazing, Billy and Mitch are super friendly, very helpful and great for a bit of a chat. These Guy's have made my stay so nice and welcoming I even call it 'Going Home to the Hotel'. 'Friendly host, warm and cozy cottage atmosphere out on the country - very private and quiet too. The room was so nicely appointed and we loved the sound of the babbling stream outside. The bathroom was large and bright and had a big bathtub. Everything was so clean and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order each day. A wonderful spot away from the madding crowds but so close to so many beautiful places. '
