Cozy Cabin
This is a beautiful cabin perfect for a weekend getaway for two and we enjoyed waking up to deer right outside the bedroom window. The cabin was perfect as home base after a day of hiking the trails at Mt Rainier and it has everything you need. Would love to return some day!

We arrived to our destination loved the set up. Yes the French doors are cumbersome I would put the details in the check in. You have everything you need. Short drive to the park. Loved that coffee was offered. Comfortable bed. Bathing products provided. With the new cabin in front I would add window coverings you do feel a little exposed. Great place to stay visiting the park.

Love everything about The Red Fern
This is an incredible well designed cabin. You can tell the hosts thought of everything to make guests feel right at home. It’s a dreamy mountain escape. If you want to be close to the Park to hike, and close to good food options this is it. Can’t wait to come back!

House was gorgeous! Very cozy with everything I needed, and very clean. WiFi worked great, cozy towels and bed. Location was close to park entrance and loved Copper Creek Restaurant and Base Camp Bar and Grill. Highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay!

Fun Time
I enjoyed staying at the cabin. It was very close to the Longmire entrance to the park. I did however spend a lot more time in the Sunrise area, which is a pretty good ways from the cabin. However that was my choice, and I would stay at the cabin again if I return some day.

stunning cabin, amazing location
The modern cabin is beautiful, and has wonderful high end luxuries in a compact space, ideal for 2 folks visiting Ranier. Great cabin wifi, no cell or spotty in the whole area. The gas fire/ stove is lovely and beautifully displayed curios. Even the generous bathroom for a one bed cabin is like a spa...lovely tiled rain shower and open windows to the towering trees. The nearest "town" has gas, a couple restaurants and more or less a "market" that stocks some non perishables and frozen foods plus a few bare bones essentials. If you are staying longer than a day or two, I suggest grabbing food you plan to cook on site in a bigger town on the way in. Highly recommend stay!

A gem close to Mt. Rainer
This beautiful, quaint cabin has what you need for a comfortable vacation close to Mt. Rainer! Clean, new, wonderful wrap around deck, coffee, large shower, lots of windows, movies, comfortable bed and nice kitchen and living room! This is a home away from home and only a 5-7 minute drive to the entrance of the park and lots of great restaurants in nearby Ashford! We enjoyed the " Wild berry" with Nepalese and American food! A wonderful place in a small community! Enjoy!

Hosts with great local knowledge
Thoughtfully constructed cabin that is impeccably maintained. Owners provided two pairs of snowshoes and a list of a range of trails and local sights. Staying at The Red Fern is such an enjoyable way to visit Rainier.

Amazing
What an amazing adventure! My husband and I wanted to explore Mount Rainier and celebrate our 25th anniversary, the Red Fern was the perfect place to do both. Conveniently located just a few minutes from the park entrance. A nice cozy secluded cabin made for relaxing after enjoying the great outdoors. Loved it, would totally stay here again! Great Couples Getaway
The Red Fern was unlike anything my boyfriend and I have experienced before. It is the perfect size for two people. Everything inside is very up to date and easy to use. The bed is very comfortable and the drive to Mt. Rainier is very short which is great as well! The only thing a little interesting was the fact that there were no blinds or window coverings. I think it would be a good idea to make it an option on the entry doors. But overall it had everything we needed. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing space with us!!

This tiny modern cabin is nestled into a wooded area just outside of Mt. Rainier's Paradise. It is the perfect location to visit the National Park. The house was fully stocked with everything that we needed and a comfy bed. Although we had a burn notice in effect (no fault of the owner) and were unable to light a fire, it was otherwise ideal.

Would highly recommed for anyone exploring Mt. Rainier. Clean cabin is well stocked and beautiful. Setting is quiet location off the main road. Beautiful wrap around deck where we ate our dinners watching a family of deer. Very convenient to Mt. Rainier National Park which is just spectacular.

Couples w/o Kiddos: Definitely Stay Here When Visiting Rainier
We would like to thank our hosts for their wonderful cabin. It truly was a treat and we were happy to finally had the chance to stay here (two years in the making for us). We would most definitely return here, though our adventures will be taking us outside of Washington for the near foreseeable future (or so we hope, pending no lockdowns). If you're a couple, we most definitely and HIGHLY recommend that you stay here when visiting Mount Rainier. We had a wonderful time, so much so, that one out of the 5 days of our vacation we spent the entire day at the cabin--only left it to take a 30 minute stroll in the neighborhood. In comparing it to other places our hosts' cabin is the bees knees. The Red Fern has the best tucked away location for their cabin on Paradise road. Really well done. A better and more detailed review of this wonderful cabin exists elsewhere, but gosh forbid VRBO allow enough characters for all the good things one would like to REVIEW and SHARE about staying at places booked on VRBO.

Top Notch Rainier Basecamp
We stayed here as a basecamp for a few visits into Mt Rainier National Park and loved every second of it. The cabin is very thoughtfully planned out and has everything you need and nothing that you don't. Also, we particularly loved the shower. We'd recommend this cabin to anyone looking for the perfect getaway for two adults. We hope to stay here again on our return visit!

Honeymoon Hike in Mt Rainier National Park
This cabin was perfect for our day hikes at Mt. Rainier. It was really cute which made the honeymoon special. Deer visited us in the morning. We saw chipmunks too! We spent most of our time outside at the park but it was nice that the cabin was so close to the park. We didn’t have much time for cooking but there was enough stuff for us to make coffee and oatmeal in the morning and a nice fridge to keep our water and Gatorade cold. Kitchen area was big enough for us to make our sandwiches and fill our water bottles before heading out for the day. Shower got nice and warm and I felt like the place was super spacious for 2 ppl. They had plenty of towels and it was nice to shower off and wash clothes after hiking. Cute, clean, comfy bed, perfect distance to park. We loved it!

Peaceful retreat in the trees
We throughly enjoyed our stay at The Red Fern. Directions for guests were accurate and easy to follow. The cabin is stylish, surrounded by trees, comfortable, and just a couple minutes away from the entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. The bed is high quality, the kitchen is modern and has all the needed basics, the couch is comfy and the large screen TV is perfect for Netflix and Prime movie bingeing. There are also some games such as Scrabble, Jenga and chess (so popular right now). Being from Seattle, we particularly liked the Rainier Beer neon sign. A special treat was the proximity to the Paradise Village restaurant, which has delicious food, including Ukrainian specialty meals such as borscht and pierogies, and baked goods. A wonderful getaway for a couple.

Cozy Cabin Retreat
The Red Fern was the perfect place for us to stay to explore Mt. Rainier National Park. It is the perfect location to get in and out of the park easily. This cabin in the perfect size for two people and is the perfect place to unwind and relax! It’s the perfect place to come back to after a day hiking in the park. My only recommendation would be possibly adding blinds for the bedroom doors but other than that this place is perfect! We loved staying here and hope to be back in the future!

Cute little cabin with modern feel
Snuck away for Valentines Day weekend. Was hoping for a cute, quiet, comfy experience and this place delivered. Modern design inside (which was not the case in other cabins in my search). Closer to the road than I originally imagined, but none the less, still quiet. Just remember to bring food with you if you plan on cooking. Nearest grocery store is about 20mi away. No real places to it in the nearby town. But our cooking experience was just fine. Outdoor BBQ, oven, small fridge, some pots and pans all helped us have some cozy meals in. Owners were super responsive and am happy with the overall experience.

Perfect escape
This was the perfect getaway from the city for a few nights, the place has everything you need to a relaxing stay. Aside from enjoying the cabin, my husband and I took a trip up to Mount Rainer and booked in for a spa and massage down the road from the property. We will definitely come back! Perfectly Delightful
The Red Fern is everything Tye and Erika describe it to be and more! We loved making the Red Fern our ‘home’ for a few days as we explored Mount Rainier National Park! The cabin is thoughtfully designed and equipped as well as tastefully decorated! It was a pleasant surprise to find everything we needed to prepare our meals. We also enjoyed catching up on our Netflix series and being able to keep tabs on our emails! Charming cabin....
The owners did a wonderful job of situating this cabin for beautiful views out the windows. Very interesting and efficient use of the floor space. We especially appreciated how close the cabin is to Mt. Rainier National Park, which allowed us time to do several hikes while staying here. NYC dwellers find peace & quiet in charming cabin
we enjoyed all the comforts of home at this delightfully stylish cabin, which is in a prime location for exploring Raineer. we loved the nearby gem of a resturant recommended by our hosts, the copper creek is not to be missed. we appreciated the books on day hikes. and the very comfortable bed! The only thing that would've improved our stay is a nightlight in the bathroom! We would recommend this cabin and return ourselves if we were ever back this way.

Really enjoyed our stay. As a custom builder I appreciate the attention to detail.
Well designed modern retreat for two. We enjoyed using the large gas grill and seating on the deck. It is located in a residential development where it is the nicest property. It feels private due to the screening woods but does not have great views also due to the forest. The national park entrance is a short drive but allow some time to get to the visitor's centers. We hope to come back and see the north side of M.R. N. P. - which, due to distance, would be best from another property location. Overall - we highly recommend the "Red Fern".
