'Dit is geen hotel maar een soort airbnb/ selfcatering. Het gebouw zelf met de kamers is prachtig. Maar als je een leuke avond met een hapje en een wijntje wilt, kom je bedrogen uit. In het dorp is niks! Nog geen bar of supermarktje. Haro is op 4 km. Daar is wel van alles. Maar dan kun je niet teruglopen. Ontbijt is gezamenlijk met alle gasten. Dat is inclusief. '

'Een prima hotel in het mooie Rioja gebied. Het hotel ligt midden in het dorp van Ábalos en s een goed uitgaan punt om de omgeving te bekijken. Het is een klassiek stijlvol hotel met uitgesleten traptreden. Je krijgt het gevoel in een kasteel te verblijven, maar er is ook een lift om met je bagage naar de kamer te gaan. 'The included breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful. One of the superior rooms we paid for was not very superior and in the attic with no windows at all. We changed down to a regular room, which was lovely, but couldn't get a refund because we prepaid. It was a beautiful historic place and the small plunge pool was refreshing. Parking was close by and very close to Haro and the wine tasting and trails to bike and walk. great base for Rioja wine visit'
