If you’re looking for a hotel that you can remain on the property then I don’t recommend this one, but if you’re looking for a quiet hotel and are okay with driving for tours/food then...

'The hotel is modernized and has all the facilities that are needed for a good stay. It is too far to walk to the city center but all the needs are in the hotel so no need to leave the property. We enjoyed Lamego during a week of festivities which was recommended by the hotel and was much fun!'

'Our stay at Quinta Da Marka was exceptional. This centuries-old vineyard overlooks the Douro River, with sweeping views in every direction. The accommodations are a newer addition and include seven comfortable, well-appointed rooms. Guests can also enjoy the pool, scenic river-view terraces, and walking paths through the vineyard. 'Zeer mooi gelegen hotel met ruime kamer, groot bed en ruime badkamer. De hele quinta ziet er prachtig uit en het eten, zowel ontbijt als diner zijn super goed. Je kan een mooie wandeling maken door de wijngaarden en genieten van de uitzichten. Enige punt van kritiek is de aandacht van het personeel. Dat is vrij functioneel. The Quinta is small (only 10 rooms) and excels in personal attention: no matter where you are in the hotel and at what time, you will be able to order a drink or a bite. 'We stayed in the new section of the hotel made primarily of local stone. The interior design as well as the exterior are so chic, tasteful and of excellent quality.
