On the first floor, you’ll find the living room with the three ducks that will welcome you, the small study with its characteristic vaulted ceilings and stone walls, the master bedroom with its antique terracotta floor and brick vaults, and thespacious master bathroom with a 3-square-meter shower lined with glass mosaic that transforms into a comfortable and relaxing Turkish bath with chromotherapy and a Bluetooth system to connect your phone and listen to your favorite music. On the first floor is the kitchen, featuring a distinctive carpenter’s workbench converted into a cooking and food-preparation area, overlooking the beautiful terrace clad in Trani stone, which offers a 180-degree view of the valley and the picturesque village of Perinaldo. From here, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding nature and the beautiful starry sky at night. Finally, on the second floor, under the pitched roof, is the bedroom/living room with an attached full bathroom, allowing its occupants to enjoy privacy and feel as if they’re in a home within a home.
The various rooms are thoughtfully arranged and designed to maximize livability. Taller guests should be mindful of the tricky old ceiling heights, which are quite low in some places. The house is just a 3-minute walk from the upper parking lot, making it very convenient for loading and unloading luggage. The main square is just a 1-minute walk away. A refined and charming setting where you can relax with a Hamam session, enjoy your vacation, and explore the beautiful village of Apricale and its wonderful surroundings (Rocchetta Nervina with its turquoise terraces, Dolceacqua with its Roman bridge, Bordighera and Ventimiglia with their beautiful pebble beaches, or the nearby French Riviera). HOUSE RULES
- No open fires or candles allowed
- Maximum occupancy: 6 people
- Smoking is permitted only on the terrace
- Turn off the air conditioning/heating and all lights whenever you leave the accommodation, even for a short time
- Before check-out, dispose of all sorted trash in the appropriate public bins and wash all dishes
- Do not use the Turkish bath for more than 30 consecutive minutes (use is prohibited for those with heart conditions, low blood pressure, or general medical issues, to avoid possible complications)
- Notify the owner if anything breaks
- Always supervise children
- Flush only toilet paper in the ground-floor bathroom because it has a pump-based suction system that can become clogged (no hair, sanitary pads, tissues, or anything else). If the system breaks due to improper use, the repair/replacement costs will be charged to the guest
