Villa Leonanto was built in 1905 on a hillside and was refurbished in 2016. It is dominated by wood and stone, with magnificent architecture reminiscent of the traditional Cretan dwellings. All modern conveniences have been included without deviating from the classic Cretan house style, providing you with an authentic Cretan living experience throughout your vacation stay in Crete. It offers a 250-square-meter terrace with a BBQ and outdoor chairs. The pool is 20 square meters in size, with five wooden sunbeds, two tables, and umbrellas.

The property can sleep up to eight people in its two twin bedrooms, one double bedroom, and one extra bed by the kitchen. The living room is elegantly furnished with comfortable hardwood furniture, and it has internet WIFI and air conditioning. For your comfort, the house offers three plasma TVs and A/C in each bedroom. The kitchen is minimalist in style and includes a four-ring stove, oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and other amenities.

The bedrooms in the villa feature safes, and there is also secure parking.

Kastellos village is a peaceful place with welcome people, amazing greenish surroundings and it is located only 10 min drive from the nearest sandy beach. The nearest beach is the organized beach of Georgioupolis which is the largest in Crete (13 Km of sand). Georgioupolis attracts many tourists during the summer and it has many shops, bars and restaurants. If you want more, Kastellos village is between the two large cities of Chania and Rethymno within 20-30 min drive. Both of them have Venetian style harbors, old towns to walk through and a vivid night life.

A car is recommended for your transportation. We can organize a transfer in order to come to the villa and the day after rental cars can be delivered at the property.

This is a house and not a hotel, so please treat the property with respect as if it was your own :)
1. You can arrive at your accommodation after 15:00 on the Arrival Date of your holiday and you must leave by 11:00 on the Departure Date. But in any case if you wish to arrive earlier or depart later than the mentioned hours feel free to contact us and we will fulfill your request if the villa is available with no extra cost. If your arrival will be delayed, you must contact us so that alternative arrangements can be made. If you fail to do so you may not be able to gain access to the Property. If you fail to arrive by midday on the day after the Arrival Date and you have not contacted us, we may treat the booking as having been cancelled by you.

2. People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not enter the property or stay overnight in the property. Any kind of Party for more than the people staying in the property must be informed prior booking the villa, which in some cases it might not be accepted and if accepted extra charge might apply. In case you do so, we can refuse to hand over the Property to you, or can require you to leave. We will treat any of these circumstances as a cancelation of the booking by you and we shall be under no obligation to refund you for any fees already paid to us
in those circumstances. Any refund will be at our sole discretion

3. Every effort has been made to ensure that you have an enjoyable and memorable holiday. If however, you have any cause for complaint it is important that action is taken as soon as possible. It is essential that you contact us if any problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved. It is often extremely difficult (and sometimes impossible) for us to resolve difficulties properly unless we are promptly notified. In particular, complaints of a transient nature(example: electric power issues, warm water is out etc.) cannot possibly be investigated unless you will let us know as soon as possible whilst you are in residence.
Also after staying in the property for 48 hours and we have not received any message or email from you about any broken facilities/amenities in the property, we will hold the guest responsible for any damages caused and must be paid or replaced by the guest on spot.

4. Smoking is Not allowed in the properties so we request all of our guests not to smoke in the properties
but to smoke outside on the exterior areas such us by swimming pools, balconies, verandas, patios or terrace

5. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. Cleaning and linnen change is done every 3/4 days.
In case you wish for the villa to be cleaned more often, it’s possible for an extra charge.

6. Hot Tub/bathtub: No children under the age of 5 permitted in hot tubs at any time without adult supervision. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival therefore it may not be warm until later that evening.

7. Pool: The pool is not covered, built to the standards of the Greek Tourism Organization EOT. Parents have full responsibility for supervision of their minor children No children under the age of 12 permitted the pool at any time without adult supervision. When using the pool, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk.

8. Tenants agree to respect the property. In case of any damage that will be made, the tenants will have to pay the cost on the spot and before leaving the villa.

9. The owner agrees to provide a clean home, cleaned just before the arrival of tenants.
Cleaning is done by us, changing towels and bed linen is included in the price.
