'The hotel is perfect for a beachy, chilled holiday if that’s what you enjoy. The small town has some shops etc which is good and Chania is only a 30 minute drive away along with Souda which are beautiful towns. Especially the Chania markets! A must go to if you love a bargain! 'We stayed 4 nights at Alkion, the staff is extremely nice and give you the feeling of being at home. Father, mother and 2 sons are running this place and provide you with all the information you need about Georgioupoli (Jojupoli) and Crete Island. The breakfast is very good.
