'This is the most relaxing lodge! I came for a weekend retreat and loved every minute. I was able sit in my own little plunge pool and watch the animals come to the water hole. The staff were all very friendly and inviting. I 100% recommend this place '

'Over het geheel leuke accommodatie. Wat er wel zou moeten zijn is een airco op de kamer . Voor de prijs en de hitte in de zomer . De fan kan alleen maar gardven heel hard wat erg hard waait als je ligt te slapen . We vonden t zwembad in verhouding met de aantal huisje best klein . En deze kan wat love and care gebruiken . '

Oh and board needs some attention because when you walk inside the tent your partner got to wake up because they squicky. But nevertheless I enjoyed it, even proposed and she said yes'

From beginning to end of the stay everything from staff, accommodation, attention to details, food, game drives, and the sense of community were beyond amazing. 'Shindzela offers the type of safari experience that is sadly dying out, to be replaced by glitzy, costly options that separate visitors from the real bush. Our guide was excellent; calm & professional even when another group was shrieking and whooping (TIP, wild animals prefer quiet). Our tracker was keen-eyed, polite and focussed. The cooking/cleaning staff clearly took pride in their work. I feel Shindzela is excellent value for money and should form a part of many more travellers' trips....
