'Geweldig hotel voor vlakbij het vliegveld. Lekker zwembad, heel fijn en behulpzaam personeel. Ligt alleen een beetje op zichzelf. Dus eten buiten de deur vereist een taxi. Het eten in het hotel is erg goed. Ook het ontbijt, maar kom dan vroeg. Als je laat komt dan zijn sommige items wat droog. '

'Friendly staff and free airport transfers. Nice grounds and areas with plenty of comfortable chairs. Room could be a bit chilly, but there is the option to borrow a heater. There was a wedding reception the first night, with music until 2am, although it was some distance from my room so not loud. Otherwise generally very quiet.'

Wanneer we vragen of we van kamer mogen wisselen is men hiertoe niet bereidt (scheelt $25 p/n). Verder lijkt het hotel eerder een B&B met z'n alleen aan de ontbijttafel... Locatie ten aanzien van et vliegveld is wel perfect'

'We had a beautiful time at Cananvalle. The staff are very attentive and friendly. It is a place quite a bit outside Ibarra and without transport you have to rely on taxis to get around. Saying that the local taxis are cheap and safe. '

'This is my favorite place I’ve ever stayed. It’s a 300 year old Spanish hacienda. Beautiful. Well maintained grounds. Extremely helpful staff. Wonderful, daily breakfast included. All of this said, this is an old building. Do not expect modern amenities like an in room tv, coffee maker or fridge. Do expect an in room wood burning fireplace that the staff lights for you every night. Do expect a very very cool, old bar.
