« Very comfortable in a beautiful setting. Only spent one night. Everything was provided. I know it is designed to be a real getaway from everyday routines but I do wish there had been a real mirror. There is plenty of room to add one. The small 5 x7 mirror was pretty useless. And a couple more hooks for hanging things. Minor complaints but just in case they are looking for suggestions! »

« Well… we decided on “The Bass House” to be our home (away from home) to gather our adult “children” to celebrate a Clemson football weekend.Well… what a weekend of memories did we create!!The cabin style home is perfectly perched on a hill overlooking Lake Keowee in the gated community of Knots Landing.Plenty of space to enjoy… 3 floors including a fully stocked kitchen for the few meals that we prepared … multiple decks … a game room and fire pit on the lower level All this before you travel...

« We stayed at the peaceful Keowee Chalet the last week of 2025 to include New Years. This is the perfect place for disconnecting and spending quality time to relax, unwind with your spouse. We spent most of our time at the Chalet, but we did dine at a couple local restaurants: Taco Riendo and Casa Lago Pizzeria in Six Mile. We also ventured to Walhalla to see Stumphouse Tunnel, Issaqueena Falls, and had lunch at The Garage in Walhalla. Meghan is a wonderful property manager and was very helpful....
