Mid. Se service is horrible. Plus, the hotel offers you drinks if the house kippers don't go. They will give you a ticket which is worth two drinks but if you go get them the asian waiters from the bar will call you dirty and make fun of you for using the ticket and be rude if you don't order food. Also, you can’t wait for your food in the lobby if you order something through an app, they told us the lobby area is only for waiting for taxis and it closes at 12. Not a great experience overall the customer service sucks.

Very comfortable all around with great beds. The tub lip is very high making it somewhat difficult to get in and out but the shower is very nice. Very conveniently located by the Leidseplein.

Excellent room, extremely helpful staff, very high quality breakfast. We will definitely stay here again. If you choose to have a green stay (no room service/sheet and towel changes), you need to request replenishment of the coffee service in your room. But every day you have a green stay the hotel gives you a voucher for a free drink of your choice in the bar. A very nice feature.

Happy with our stay, but would have liked to have had a set of drawers etc in the bedroom so as to be able to store smaller articles in and towel rails instead of 2 small door hooks to help dry the bath towels.
Would be very happy to stay at the hotel again.

Wij verbleven 2 nachten in het hotel. De eerste nacht zaten we in kamer 119. Toen we binnen kwamen rook het vreemd. In de loop van de dag maar vooral de volgense ochtend stonk het zo erg dat ik moest kokhalsen van de rioollucht. Ik vermoed dat men op de hoogte was van deze lucht omdat er overal geurpotjes geplaatst waren. Het personeel (dat overigens heel vriendelijk was)lostte het probleem vlot op en we kregen voor de laatste nacht een andere kamer. Omdat men willens en wetens toch deze kamer verhuurde ben ik van mening dat dit heel slecht is en dat men beslist geen punten hiermee gescoord heeft.

Breakfast and the lady welcomes us was very nice, she even remembers my room number when I came the second day
The amenities are normal and I ordered extra tissue paper and face towers through the app but didn’t get it

The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The room I was in needed a couple of touch ups but the stay was great. I will definitely visit again. Kimberley at front desk was the absolute best.

Got to Amsterdam a few hours early and proceeded to the hotel. Tell the staff know that I was a bit early and for the 3pm check in. The attendant was very friendly and begun my checking process and let me know that is the room was ready I was going to get access to it ahead before 3pm. The room was ready and I was able to get some rest since I was jet lagged.
Over the next few days staff was very attentive and kind. They even send a few balloons on my birthday since I was still stay ing in the hotel. This was a nice touch.
I will definitely staying at NH in future trips a loved the customer service mode that they use.

We had a complementry breakfast gifted as it was our anniversay but unfortunately it kind of went down hill from there...second dsy there was no hot water for showers! So we had to go off to our booked activities for that day feeling a bit unclean!
We booked breakfast for our check out morning and it was so cold . Beans cold. Tomatoes cold. Eggs cold. When ypur paing 40 euros for two people to wat breakfast ypu expect part of it to be warm and edible, such a shame as the firat breakfast was lovely which is why we booked fof check out morning to make things easier.
When we checked out, we wasnt asked how our stay was ...so i took it upon myself to let the lady at reception know, the the hotel was very noisy, you could hwar others shpwering and using the toilet in the room above us . Lota of loud bangs during the night which woke us startled. The recpetionist clearly couldnt care less, she was unhelpful and didnt want to converse more than she had to!
Overall i was completely underwhelmed with the hotel and am upset that we wernt even told about the hot water via a text or phonecall before jumping in to a freezing cold shower and being completely confused. To find out when we reported it reception had recieved many reports already!

All the staff were friendly and the property was clean. The hotel is situated on a main road, but we didn’t have a problem with any noise as it was inward facing so can’t comment on other rooms, but wouldn’t imagine it being that bad as the windows were pretty insulated. Location is about 5 mins away from the start of a main shopping street and in front of a bus stop that takes you to the airport (route 397). They had a good selection of hot and cold choices for breakfast which was enough for our 4 night city break. We weren’t told on check in but you need to book the gym in advance if you want to use it and it only opens from 8am (for those early risers).

Friendly, beautify kept hotel close to the museums
Beautifully kept hotel with warm welcoming staff that did so much to help make our stay as comfortable as possible.
Room was amazing and well stocked with amenity's. Room was also very quiet you could not hear any noise from in or out side the hotel.
Electrical sockets all had usb and usb c out let’s on them which was very convenient
Breakfast was beautiful lots to choose from both hot and cold options.
And the restaurant and bar food was amazing we had steak it was beautifully cooked.
There is also a small convenience shop in the hotel that offers food, drink and other items.
You are about a 15 min walk to the Rijk museum and 20 min walk from Van Gogh museum. 40 min walk into center of Amsterdam.
This hotel is ideal for those looking for a quieter and more civilised stay at Amsterdam

I like that the location of the hotel is perfect for a city centre visit to Amsterdam.
Breakfast is good with a lot of options.
Dinner is a bit below par.
I was not all that happy with the room. Which was a bit strangely situated in the basement (-1)
The airconditioning made a lot of noise and weird mechanical clicks during the night. The bed itself had seen it’s best time as well.

Nice location but no outlets in the bathroom!
Overall you can’t beat the location! The service from the front desk and bar were also great! It was nice to have a refrigerator, iron, and decent blow dryer in the room.
The bed and sheets were comfortable.
The cons were the room was on the smaller side and ours faced the street/park and you could hear the noise. Also our room was not cleaned very well, had mold in the bathroom and had a couple of broken items. The most annoying thing was there was no outlet in the bathroom or close to the one mirror outside of the bathroom. It was very hard to get ready. I asked the front desk if all the rooms lacked outlets in the bathroom and they said yes! I find this super inconvenient. Also our air conditioner didn’t run when you had the key in the room slot. So every night we had to take it out for the fan to run then we would have no lights! Usually the key in the holder gives you lights and air conditioning/heat…this was opposite for air. So glad we figured it out right away otherwise it was super stuffy and you heard the outside noise even more!
Overall we enjoyed the location so it made up for the rest…except the lack of outlets in the bathroom. That needs to be fixed.

This hotel was in a good location for travelling to the places we wanted to visit during our trip.
The staff were friendly and offered useful advice when we asked. The room was clean, but the shower flooded within a few minutes, which was annoying. We had hotel breakfast on one of the mornings that we stayed. It was delicious, lots of variety and all very tasty. I would definitely recommend.

I stayed here when it was NH centre and was satisfied. I feel like it’s even gotten better over the years and Liedsplien is my favorite area. Quiet, but close enough to the fun! 😀

Perfect Location
Fantastic location for walking, biking, eating, drinking or catching a canal cruise. Even though they are currrently remodelling the hotel, it is very quiet even being so close to the Leidseplein area.

Construction at hotel!
Late check-in provided by the hotel. The room was not ready by 3pm and they also had construction going on next to my room which was very loud. It was not disclosed prior to booking or upon check-in. I would not stay here again.
