een heel gezellig boutique hotel, met vriendelijk personeel, en mooie tuin! enig minpuntje is dat men voor een eitje bij het ontbijt extra moet betalen, wat toch wel -gezien het niveau vh hotel- inbegrepen mocht zijn...

Pent og lite hotell som gjør alt de kan for å få sine gjester til å føle seg velkommen og ivaretatt. Utrolig gode på service. Pene rom og den beste kaffe jeg har smakt. Utsøkt frokost! God beliggenhet og stille området. Helt perfekt⭐️⭐️

This historic building has been renovated into a unique hotel, the kind I look for when traveling. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed, and the staff members were first rate! They are very attentive and will even explain the history of the building. I would absolutely stay here again. Keep in mind you will need to negotiate short flights of stairs here and there, even if you use the lift.

A wonderful stay and perfect after 36 hours of travelling from NZ: flying 26.5 but airport waits and some train transfers etc!! Staff were so friendly and helpful. A minuscule comment please can you get the local maps in colour so one can easily distinguish the canals when planning travel. We picked up a free one from a museum which was so much easier. Highly recommend the Canal Museum just along from teh Hotel heading south to the Van Gogh Museum. Enjoy, you won’t regret it

The hotel was clean, comfortable with great walk-ability for activities. The check in was Amazing with refreshments and cold towel. The desk people booked reservations to museums for us etc. fantastic service

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit leckerem Frühstück und freundlichem Personal. Keine Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Mögen muss man das Duschen vorm Zimmerpartner - es gab nämliche kein extra Badezimmer!

Amazing Hotel
Wow. What a great hotel. Very unique place, the staff was SO nice and helpful, and the room was very cute and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place. Great location and they also called to book a restaurant reservation for us. Absolutely stay here. Don't look anywhere else.

Would have been 5-star but they overbooked and put me in The Toren. Room was great with canal view, but bathroom was not clean, sink was not draining and windows very old that could hear people talking on street loudly late night. Service and staff are very friendly and helpful - free coffee and drinks provided at restaurant, to make up, and also left me personalized note.

We loved our stay at Canal House! We visited Amsterdam during our honeymoon and were greeted by the kindest staff who offered us complimentary welcome drinks and a room upgrade. They gave us a tour of the property and helped us with our luggage. The hotel was beautiful and conveniently located near Jordaan, which offers tons of restaurants and charm. It’s only a 12 minute walk to Dam Square where you can easily take a tram to other neighborhoods. It’s also steps from the Flagship canal cruise, which was perfect for a sunset ride!

A beautiful hotel with lovely period features, welcoming staff and sumptuous rooms. The staff went all out to make my partners birthday special. They gave us an amazing room on the ground floor that had its own terrace. The facilities were excellent; coffee, tea, fridge, bath, soaps, hairdryer, TV and a very luxurious bath. Breakfast was lovely even though we only made it one day. It would be better to include this in the price or make a note that it is not included so we knew. It was 16 euros so we ended up going out for breakfast most days. Lots of lovely spots nearby. We ate at Yeti, Cafe and Bloom, Greenwoods. We also went for a posh meal at De Bechamel which was outstanding. The only issue with the room was it was quite warm and the air con struggled a bit. Other than that it was perfect. Thanks for our lovely stay!!!

We absolutely loved this boutique hotel! It started off with Owen (I hope I’m spelling that correctly!) welcoming us like part of the family. He got us checked in, gave us loads of wonderful ideas for things to do and answered all my many questions. Our room was downstairs overlooking the garden. I spent each afternoon in the garden reading. The perfect way to spend a couple restful hours before heading out again. Location, staff and beauty of this hotel made it one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed!! Perfect!!

The staff was amazing. Very nice. Josh, the day front desk staff was great! He offered great tips, ideas, and directions when needed. Helped us bring our luggage up to our room. I would stay here again for sure.

Our stay here was excellent! The staff were very hospitable. We got given a frat room near the top floor overlooking the canal. The room was very unique. Bed was extremely comfy and the bathroom was very nice! The location is ideal in a great area of town. Very central & close to everything! Highly recommend it!

Canal House was beautiful, spacious, and had an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. We were able to easily walk to everything in central Amsterdam and generally loved our time there. Highly recommended.

Property is in a historic, 17th century building so that gave the hotel extra charm. The place was clean, the room was large, and the location was fabulous. Two gripes: 1) no warm breakfast options (e.g., omelletes), and 2) I booked a room with a canal view but upon arrival, was told that type of room was subject to availability and none was available for me. The room we received was nice with a garden view but a canal view would’ve been better.
