Romantische hotels in Amelia Island

'This was our 2nd stay at this property and our 6th or 7th stay in the Plantation area of Amelia Island. Great place for a secluded beach getaway in Fall/Winter that’s not overly touristed out. The Shipwatch unit is very spacious for our group of 4-5 and is beach-facing. We also like the proximity to the eating/shopping options like Marche Burette.'

'I didn’t want to do a review because I feel like we may have encountered unfortunate anomalies? But I kept receiving notifications. Dishwasher was broken. Repair involved ordering a part, so hand washed dishes all week. There was a fall in the tub, which had a handicapped handle to enter, but no traction/ grip on bottom of tub surface. The sliding glass door had an issue. When it rained the track filled with water & overflowed in to the floor in the master bedroom (so I had to keep drying that...

'Better than a hotel. Steps from the beach. Ocean view. Assigned parking spot. Grocery shop and pack light as the unit has a washer and dryer as well. Many restaurants nearby. This is our second time staying here and we will be back. '
