  • Located within reasonable distance to the Hocking Hills State Parks. This peaceful country setting is located on a small farm just outside the quaint little town of Tarlton. Surrounded by 16 acres….over half of it is wooded with trails to explore. While here, take time to breathe deeply of Gods fresh country air and enjoy the opportunity to unwind from your daily pressures. APARTMENT: Sunrise Apartment is located above our 3 car garage with a staircase from our garage to enter the apartment. The apartment is a studio type room with a queen bed, a couch, a bookcase, a small table with 2 benches, a fully furnished kitchenette with a bar and 2 bar stools, a bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a bedroom with a full size bed on the other side of the bathroom that also has an entry from the staircase. Linens and towels are provided. Complimentary coffee and a few snacks. OUTDOORS: Farm animals. (Miniature horses, Snowball the cat). Backyard Patio with a fire pit and a removable grill. Playground area. Hammock and Dbl. lawn swing. Above ground pool during the summer months. Trails throughout the woods. Another fire pit back in our wooded area CELL SERVICE/TECHNOLOGY: We have Spectrum phones which use Verizon towers - our phones do pretty well. We have free Internet with a password provided. We have Starlink satellite that runs our smart TV (bring your own subscriptions) And a Samsung DVD player (bring your favorite DVDs) We do supply a few family DVDS. But we do encourage a break from technology to totally unwind. ADDITIONAL: Country Lane Lodging also offers another vacation apartment at this location that sleeps 5 with 2 bedrooms.     LOCATION:
    We are located 45 minutes southeast of Columbus, 20 minutes from Circleville the home of the Pumpkin Show, 25 minutes from Tecumseh (outdoor drama) and 15-20 minutes to Rock House one of the Hocking Hills State Parks. There is a IGA with fuel and groceries, Dollar General with groceries and a few small diners in Tarlton just a few minutes from here. And plenty more to do to keep you busy for a number of days. We stayed for the memorial weekend with the family, the interior was very clean and neat, bathrooms are snow white, and definitely interior was remodeled. beds were very comfy. outside is amazing, a beautiful patio and park to walk. If you’re looking for a quiet, chilling and relaxing place- this is it.

My husband and I loved the place. It was perfect for what we needed. I have never stayed at such a clean place. Norma and Phil always got back with you right away when you texted them. It was away from the noise of the city with horses to look at. They have a nice private pool that we did not have time to use. We would definitely recommend this place.

Phil & Norma are excellent hosts. We really enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful & peaceful. The unit is very clean, comfortable & quiet. The hosts provided snacks, coffee and tea. We appreciated the thoughtful touches such as hooks throughout the unit, mirror in the bedroom & good lighting in the bathroom. The television is small, but would stay here again if in the area.

The kitchen is small but fully equipped. There is a blackstone grill available to use as well. Apartment is very clean. Property is very peaceful and lovely to walk around.

We had an amazing stay at the adorable Sunrise! There was a large bathroom and plenty of space for us 3 girls for our weekend away. It was nice to have a fridge and stove to make eggs for breakfast before we headed out on our morning adventures. We enjoyed the clean pool during the hot afternoons, found a cute, little frog under the umbrella by the pool, and enjoyed relaxing inside after our long hikes. There is plenty of space for families to enjoy! Extremely fanily-friendly location.Phil and Norma were responsive, kind, and caring hosts. We even visited their church on Sunday after we checked out. It was fun to chat with their youngest daughter as well. We had fun feeding carrots for the horses, too. We are already planning our next visit.

Such a clean little place to stay.We go to Circleville a few times a year for cattle shows.We stay here when ever it’s available.

This was such a great apartment for my family of 4. The ponies were a hit with my teens. We spent the days in Hocking Hills Hiking so this place was a perfect location to everything we did! We highly recommend and can't wait to stay again maybe in the summer!

Quiet, peaceful retreat

Very nice accommodations - come and go as you please - could disconnect from the world as you lounged in the large shaded yard or swim in the pool. Enjoyed our quiet relaxing stay.
