Experience Norway's beautiful west coast from a spacious waterfront villa in Lindås, approximately 50 minutes from Bergen. With room for up to 11 guests, a private floating dock, waterfront terraces, excellent fishing and direct access to the sea, the villa is ideal for families, groups and fishing holidays.

A 17-foot Rana motorboat is included from May 1 to September 30, weather permitting. Seasonal kayaks and two stand-up paddleboards are also available.

For dedicated fishing holidays, a newer Øien 530F with a fuel-efficient Suzuki 40 HP engine is available for weekly rental throughout the year.

Living Areas

The spacious waterfront living room has large windows providing plenty of natural light and views towards the water. Comfortable seating gives larger groups plenty of room to relax together after a day exploring the coast.

The living room includes a large Smart TV with Netflix, a wood-burning stove and an additional seating area for reading or relaxing.

Kitchen & Dining

The kitchen was renovated in 2021 and is fully equipped for self-catering, with an induction cooktop, built-in oven, dishwasher, large refrigerator and freezer, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, cookware, tableware and a large kitchen island.

The adjoining dining area comfortably seats up to 10 guests and opens onto the waterfront balcony.

Four Bedrooms – Sleeps up to 11

Primary bedroom – King-size bed, waterfront views and space for a travel crib.

Bedroom 2 – Double-over-single bunk bed with balcony access.

Bedroom 3 – One double bed and one single bed.

Bedroom 4 – One double bed and one single bed.

All four bedrooms are located on the upper floor.

Bathrooms

The villa has two full bathrooms and a separate guest WC.

The main bathroom features a freestanding bathtub, walk-in rainfall shower, double vanity and underfloor heating.

A second bathroom with shower is located on the entrance level beside the laundry area. A washing machine and dryer are available for guests.

Private Waterfront & Outdoor Areas

The waterfront setting is one of the highlights of the property.

Enjoy breakfast on the balcony, prepare dinner on the gas BBQ, relax on the terraces or spend the day beside the private floating dock.

From the property you can swim, fish, launch the boat, kayak or paddleboard, or simply relax and enjoy the sheltered coastal surroundings.

Boating & Fishing

A 17-foot Rana motorboat with an engine below 25 HP is included from May 1 to September 30, weather permitting.

No boating licence is required for the Rana, but the operator must be at least 16 years old. Previous boating experience is strongly recommended because of the rocky Norwegian coastline. Fuel is full-to-full.

For guests planning a dedicated fishing holiday, a newer Øien 530F with a fuel-efficient Suzuki 40 HP engine is available for rental for periods of at least one week.

The Øien is approved for up to eight people. Operators born in 1980 or later must hold a valid Norwegian boating licence or an equivalent licence accepted in Norway.

Both boats are insured. A standard boat agreement must be signed before use.

The property is a registered tourist fishing accommodation and has a covered fish-cleaning station with running water and lighting.

Optional Hot Tub

A private hot tub is available for NOK 1,000 per stay. It is filled with fresh water and prepared specifically for your booking.

Please request the hot tub at least 48 hours before arrival.

Explore Western Norway

The villa provides a peaceful base for exploring Bergen and the fjords of Western Norway.

Bergen city centre is approximately 50 minutes away by car. Scenic day trips can take you towards Voss, Flåm, Nærøyfjord, Sognefjord, Hardanger and Vøringsfossen.

After a day exploring, return to your own waterfront setting for swimming, fishing, boating or simply relaxing beside the sea.

Nearby

Lindås Senter – approximately 5 minutes by car, with supermarkets, shops and pharmacy.

Petrol station and takeaway – approximately 5 minutes by car.

Westland Hotel Restaurant – approximately 18 minutes on foot.

Kjelstraumen Brygge Restaurant – approximately 20 minutes by car.

Bergen city centre – approximately 50 minutes by car.

Private Guest Access

Guests have private access to the villa, including the kitchen, dining room, living areas, four bedrooms, two full bathrooms, guest WC, laundry area, balcony and designated outdoor spaces.

Guests also have exclusive use of the private floating dock, waterfront terraces and fish-cleaning station during their stay.

The hosts live in a separate, self-contained part of the house with their own entrance and outdoor area. There are no shared indoor spaces. We are nearby if assistance is needed.

Free parking is available only a few metres from the entrance.

Longer Stays

Special monthly rates are available for stays of 30 nights or longer, making the villa suitable for companies, professionals on temporary assignments and families needing a spacious home near Bergen and Mongstad.

Different conditions apply to stays of 30 nights or longer, including a maximum of six guests and exclusion of boat use. Please enquire for details.
