Hôtel Alveley, Bridgnorth

« Good clean property, staff very friendly. Very accommodating for pet. »

« Very friendly staff all round .The hotel needs a bit updating stairs to room ,we stayed in Apple blossom room which was spacious with a large bathroom .Mini fridge in room with fresh milk nice touch .The room was comfortable in the heatwave ,with a fan included . Felt the detail of cleaning could of been better ( big cobweb under window and handbasin cracked and behind the taps could of done with a clean ) The setting and surroundings really make this hotel a good find .Breakfast served by...

« Norma was absolutely wonderful, helpful and efficient. The accommodation was clean and tidy, shower was great. Breakfast was well varied and tasty. Evening meal was excellent. Bar and staff were good. Will be visiting again 😊 »

« Very nice stay indeed. Owner very helpful on a minor housekeeping issue. Breakfast is in the coffee shop on the ground floor of the building and was really nice - speaking to locals they told me this was the best breakfast place in Bewdley, without knowing I was staying there. The only thing is that this property is on a busy main road so if road noise is an issue for you bear that in mind »

« I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional! Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again. »

« Small double room, knightwick, has a toilet that leaked. The whole bathroom and bedroom stinks of mould because the floor must still be damp from the leaks. This room should not be used. The smell was so bad we had to leave the fan and light on all night. This was v noisy but preferable to the stink. Rooflights open all night. The door is a folding type so you can't even shut the smell out. Such a shame because the restaurant, pub and area are lovely and the food v good. Would pay not to stay in...

« Séjour très agréable, très bon accueil, très bon restaurant Je recommande vivement »

« Great location about 10 minutes drive into the City. Large, clean room with tea, coffee etc and fresh milk in fridge & bottled water too. Quirky room as part of an old pub so floors a little uneven and steepish staircase to get to rooms, but didn’t detract from the stay. Breakfast was delicious and staff all extremely friendly & helpful. As it’s a pub, you are obviously aware of noises from the pub during the day and evening but as soon as it closes, it’s very quiet. »

« Lieu agréable, assez cosy et chaleureux. Literie confortable, salle de bain passable, linge de toilette de faible qualité Malheureusement la propreté n'est pas au top Petit déjeuner à 15 pounds pour une qualité médiocre, très peu de chose sont faite maison !!! alors que l'hotel se vente d'avoir des produits locaux et de bonnes qualités ! C'est à se demander ce que fait le cuisinier/pâtissier !!! »

« Except the breakfast (all is there but teast not), the place is nice, mainly because the team on site is really helpful, pro and friendly. That made my stay great. Thanks a lot »

« C'était un séjour de 3 nuits dans ce bel hôtel pour des raisons professionnelles. J'ai adoré le cadre de l'hôtel, ce dernier dispose de beaux équipements tel que piscine, salle de musculation, superbes bar et restaurant, chambres confortables, sauna, hammam. »

« The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...

« A wonderful hotel, everything was super nice, the room, (given a upgrade), the food outstanding, and the friendliest you could have ever meet. Definitely will book when next in the area. »

« Super séjour, personnels accueillant. Je le recommande. »
