'Beautiful historic building that is now a hotel, the rooms are a bit dated, I expected a bit newer standard in the elements of the room. The location is perfect for sightseeing the most iconic parts of Santo Domingo.
The staff is very friendly and service was excellent, food was very good as well and we would stay again if we are to visit Santo Domingo again. Great fast check in, fast check out, well run hotel. '

'Very nice and friendly hotel. Right at thé centre square at main street in the colonial zone. Evrything can be reached by foot or with an uber (very cheap). I would not recommend parking your car in this street, as it is very busy. There is no elevator, so keep that in mind. Also make sure you can get a room that is not facing the square. At night (2-3 am) they will powerwash the square from all the bird poop from the pigeons. That will wake you up. And at 7 am the cleaners with blowers will...

'The staff were very accommodating. The apartment was clean, attractive, and well maintained. All of the amenities (TV, wifi, bathroom with hot shower, kitchen with stove, sink, and large fridge, separate bedroom with AC) worked well. The Residence is secure and very convenient to the main motorway, the beach, and the local supermarket. Has its own good sized pool and only a few miles drive from the Santo Domingo airport.'

'The hotel is located at Calle El Conde,the main street.That means you're close to everything (restaurants,bars,...).At 100 m there's even a supermarket !
Our room had a balcony which is very nice to watch people passing by.
It also had a kitchenette fully equipped (that we did not use).
The room was cleaned every day.
The bed was good. The shower was excellent,as well as the airco.
Omar and the girl at the reception (forgot her name)were very friendly and helpful !

'The rooms are unfortunately not worthy of a 5-star rating. However, the rest of the hotel certainly is! We arrived in the evening and were given a room on the ground floor. As mentioned in previous reviews, the bathroom ceiling was moldy. Water was leaking from the apartments above into our bathroom.
The next day, we requested a different room. After a lot of insistence, we finally got another room at the end of the day. They acted as if they had never heard of the leakage before… Instead of...
