Charming Villa with private pool between Lucca and Florence

  • Located in one of the most beautiful hilly areas around Lucca, “Tenuta Albereta” is a charming villa, full of character, in a picturesque setting. It is next to the ancient village of Montecarlo, famous for its wines, oil and food. The beautiful villa is in the middle of olive trees, vineyards and woods, with a swimming pool open from may to September. It is ideal for families who love spending time in natural environment, relaxing and going for long walks.
    The villa is surrounded by a garden, a pine wood, vineyards and olive trees. Nearby the are horse stables, tennis courts, golf courses, cycling.
    We only rent the whole property to one party per time so privacy is never compromised.
    At the ground floor you can find a furnished kitchen, a dining room, a living room, a toilet and a bedroom. At the first floor there are 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and one 4 person bedroom. In front of the house there is a depandance with a bathroom, a double bed and a single bed.
    "Tenuta Albereta" is the perfect starting point to visit places full of historical and artistic interest: Lucca (22km),The sandy beaches of Versilia (40km), Pisa (38 km), Florence (50 km), Siena (130km).
    If you are 3-4 families with children, you will really enjoy a week’s holiday in Tenuta Albereta.
    With an open air barbecue area, the lovely patio is ideal for outside meals. After a hot day of sightseeing it will be great to come back to a splash in the pool and a cold beer on the terrace, before lighting the bbq and putting on some of the superb sausages from the local supermarket. .
    Upon your arrival you will receive a welcome basket with local products like wine, oil, jam, honey, everything made in Tenuta Albereta.

    Guests will have access to the entire villa, swimming pool, bbq, pine forest, vineyards and olive groves. The villa has a private car park for the exclusive use of its guests.
    To help you better organize your days you will find a guide to discover the corners and secret coves of Tuscan, culinary directions and maps.
    Upon request you can book a transfer service to and from Pisa airports.
    Upon request, your pets may accompany you during your stay. Please inform us prior to your arrival so that we can organize the best welcome to your four-legged travelling companion.
    We are at guests' disposal, in 15 minutes we will at the villa.
    We organize cooking lessons, cooking lab (pizza, pasta, bread, focaccia, cakes, jam) Tenuta Albereta.

A marvellous week in Marginone

We spent a full week at Tenuta Albereta, which constitutes a truly comfortable, fully-fledged and quiet summer residence. The extensive premises are located on the green outskirks of Marginone - a lovely little village close to Altopascio. The spacious house is surrounded by woods, vineyards and olive groves. Moreover, it offers a great view of the mountains around Pisa. Hence, we found everything in order to make our stay at Tenuta Albereta an outstanding experience. I

"Wij waren met 8 volw. en...

"Wij waren met 8 volw. en 4 kinderen. Tuin en huis bieden voldoende rust, ruimte en schaduw. Alles goed en basic. Zwembad met genoeg ligbedden/stoelen. Ruim voldoende serviesgoed. 2 koelkasten. Supermercato dichtbij, ook open op zondag. Neem een paar afwastabletten voor vaatwasser mee. Alle luiken met horren, maar neem toch maar muggenolie mee in de zomer. Bereikbaarheid en parkeren prima. Drinkwater uit de kraan."

"De directe omgeving was spijtig genoeg veel industrie. De keuken is een beetje klein om goed in te kunnen koken, héél rustige omgeving, proper, direct aan de autostrade, algemene indruk is héél positief! Zeker een aanrader!"

"De woning voldoet in all...

"De woning voldoet in alle opzichten aan wat je van een Toscaans landhuis verwacht: schitterend en zeer rustig gelegen temidden van olijfbomen en wijngaarden, van alle gemakken voorzien, hoewel niet echt oud wel een 'historische uitstraling'. Veel te zien in de omgeving, prima service door 'housekeeper' en persoonlijke benadering door verhuurster. Perfect!" "In all aspects the house meets with what one expects of a Tuscan mansion: a splendid and very quiet location, amidst olive trees and vineyards, with all the comfort you need. Though not a really old house, it has a certain 'historic ambience'. A lot to see in the surroundings, excellent service by the housekeeper and a friendly, personal treatment by the owner. Just perfect!"

"Het is een prachtig huis...

"Het is een prachtig huis met een heel handig bijgebouw, zodat onze hele familie een prima veblijf heeft gehad. ook het zwembad was mooi schoon! Het is een heel rustige plek, met veel privacy door de prachtige tuin/bos er om heen. De keuken is wat klein voor zoveel mensen zeker als iedereen ervan houdt om te koken, maar de maaltijden, heerlijk buiten, waren desalniettemin super goed gelukt dus was het eigenlijk niet echt een probleem. We waren zeer gecharmeerd van het behang in de verschillende kamers, net allemaal even anders, maar wel in dezelfde sfeer, leuk! De foto's, die de eigenares heeft gestuurd klopten precies met de werkelijkheid (dit geldt ook voor de website). Zij was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en heeft ervoor gezorgd dat alle benogdheden voor de baby aanwezig waren, prima! It is a lovely beautiful house with a very handy dependance building, so our whole family could have a fine stay at Tenuta Albereta. Everything including the swimming pool was spotlessly clean. It is a very quiet place with a lot of privacy because of the surrounding garden The kitchen is a bit small for so many people, especially while we all like to cook, but our meals, enjoyed outside, were a big succes, so it was not a real problem. We were very charmed of the wallpaper in the different rooms, they fit well together! The photo's send by the owner were exactly with the reality, bravo! The owner was most friendly and helpful and took care of all the aquipment for our baby grandchild. All the conveniences were there. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return in the future."

"With a group of friends ...

"With a group of friends (and partners) we stayed in this wonderful villa in Tuscany. And we were actually one of the first groups to rent this. The villa isn't brand new or luxury, but it has absolutely character and everything we needed; a washing machine, a dish washer, a pool, a great fireplace outside and inside and peaceful surroundings. The villa is very close to Lucca (15 min. drive) and walking distance to picturesque Monte Carlo. A big supermarket is a 2 min. drive. It was a bit strange to rent a house from the internet, from someone we never met, but we have had good contact from the beginning. The service was great as well; for example the boiler in one of the bathrooms seemed to be out of order, but already the next day it was repaired. The owner cooked a great meal for us and brought local wines and food from her garden. The rooms all have a slightly different atmosphere, but all are very romantic. We definitely liked it and would rent it a second time without hesitation."

Skønt hus med masser af plads til mange og en dejlig pool

Skønt hus med masser af plads til en stor familie på 13 prs. Poolenvar et total hit med 5 børn og voksne vandhunde. Beliggenhed fin tæt på indkøb, hovedveje. God is i Altopascio . Eneste minus var myggene som var en stor plage. Værten var meget imødekommende og hjælpsom med tips til restauranter og udflugtsmål. Vi kommer gerne igen medbringende svensk myggespray

We had a total of 28 people join us during the month of June. And everyone of the 28 agreed it could not have been any better. The Villa-pool and grounds were just as wonderful as could be. A bit of magic and heaven for all of us. We like to think it's just being with the Kiaune family but the Villa and the surroundings added so much more. Your efforts and all the others involved made for a great and treasured time. Marginone is such a beautiful little place and right down the road. It boasts a lovely little pastry shop(expresso,cappuccino etc) an upscale Osteria Fellini a pizzeria with pasta dishes and pizza and a beautiful little Church that my wife fell in love with. We heard Angels sing there. And Montecarlo also right down the road has beautiful shops and restaurants. The town of Altopascio has a rail station and you can easily ride to Lucca and Florence and Pisa. So Alessandra again thank you- thank you-thank you. Wish we were still there. tres belle expérience

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle maison, nous étions 8 adultes et 6 enfants, la maison est très agréable, spatieuse, il y a même une dépendance pour ceux qui veulent s'isoler un peu plus, on a bien profité de la piscine, il y a un supermarché à 5 minutes de la maison, elle est bien située pour visiter Florence, Lucca, Sienne, Pise et San Gimignano, accueil sympathique d'Alessandra qui nous a préparé un bon repas pour le 1er soir . Nous recommandons cette location

Du charme toscan !

Grande maison toscane au charme indéniable où nous avons passé à 9 personnes une semaine très agréable. Nous avons apprécié la vue superbe sur Lucca depuis la vaste terrasse, la tranquillité des lieux à quelques aboiements près, les chambres spacieuses ainsi que la gentillesse des propriétaires et voisins. Seul bémol, l'accès à la maison qui s'effectue par une route très étroite en lacets où, sauf à certains endroits, ne peuvent se croiser 2 véhicules, ce qui peut engendrer une appréhension certaine pour les conducteurs. Par ailleurs, l'entretien des extérieurs (bancs en pierre notamment) ou la vérification du bon fonctionnement des éclairages mériteraient une meilleure attention avant l'arrivée des locataires.

Une maison de charme dans un bel environnement

Maison typique, bien équipée et bien située pour visiter la Toscane.Une très jolie vue sur la campagne et l'ombre appréciable d'un tilleul et d'un châtaigner. Un seul regret : nous avons eu de très fortes chaleurs , nous avons dormi les fenêtres ouvertes (équipées de moustiquaires)...mais nos nuits, dans cet endroit au demeurant très calme, étaient perturbées par les aboiements des deux chiens de la maison voisine.

Claude et toute sa famille ont aimés.

Quoi de plus inespéré que de passer 15 jours ensoleillés, dans cette maison pleine de charme, au milieu de la campagne, bordée de grands pins, de chênes, de vignes ,sans parler des oliviers qui bordent la piscine "et qui à été fortement appréciée tout au long ne nos vacances." Nous avons été ravie d'être accueilli par Alessandra qui nous à donné de bonnes adresses, pour découvrir ainsi les mets locaux par l'intermédiaire d'Erica(qui parle bien le Français), et qui nous préparé un soirée dégustation de choix avec possibilité de visites au village de Montécarlo, nous avons passé une soirée authentique, avec achats de vins et d'huile d'olive de la région. Nous avons apprécié également sur ce site de Montecarlo, les soirées musicales, et divers animations ainsi que ces nombreux petits restaurants. Nous avons découvert les sites environnants , montagnes proches avec des chemins de randonnés, ainsi que la proximité des villes , Florence , Pise , Lucca, Montécatini Terme, Pistoia, et dans le Chianti Certaldo Alto " son funiculaire", et la charmante ville médiévale de San Gimignano... Nous vous recommandons cette location pour sa simplicité, ainsi que l'hospitalité et la disponibilité d'Alessandra, qui nous à fait confiance, et laissé sa maison en toute liberté. La Ténuta Albereta, restera longtemps dans nos souvenirs. Claude

I just want to say to you, Sabrina, Mirco and all the people who made our stay so fantastic, a hearty thank you. A beautiful pastry shop(expresso,cappucino etc) an upscale Osteria Fellini(great pasta dishes and pizza) And a beautiful little church were the people sang like Angels. Brought a teat to my wife's eye. Likewise with Montecarlo with it's restaurants and shops also just a bit down the road. a train station in Alto pascio makes travel to Lucca and Florence easy. So please, again, thank everyone for us. We so had a great and wonderful time

Wonderful Tuscany Vacation

Ten friends traveled from North Carolina in the US to vacation at Alessandra's villa in Marginone. Everyone had a great time. Small groups did various day trips. We visited and ate in Montecarlo, and Marginone. We took the train to Pisa, some went to Rome for two days or Florence for the day. I went with three others to Cinque Tierre and hiked from Monterossa to Vernazza - absolutely gorgeous. We all came together one night for one of Alessandra's cooking class and dinner. The outside table and porch area were perfect for our dinner. It was even warm enough to enjoy the pool. The house is clean and comfortable and the property is well kept. For we Americans, the kitchen was a little small, but we managed just fine. We traveled and ate most dinners out. I would give a 4.5 but the program won't let me do one half of a star. Enjoy. Excellent Villa for Group Holiday

Tenuta Albereta is a great venue for a group holiday and value for money. The accommodation matched our expectations with comfortable spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The living areas worked well including the outdoor barbecue area under the verandah. Added to this, the grounds are well set out and private. The services and hospitality provided by the owner (Alessandra) were first class. The nearby town of Marginone (500 metres) has a very good Osteria/Pizzeria plus some useful local shops. Market and supermarket shopping is at Altopascio (about 4km away). The town of Montecarlo (2km) is a highlight and also has some more fine restaurants. Visiting Lucca is a must. We very much enjoyed our stay at Tenuta Albereta.

A lovely place in Serchio valley

We spent a fantastic holiday for two weeks at this beautiful and quiet place near Lucca. We stayed there with two families. it is a very nice place from where nearly every destination in Tuscanny can be reached within 2 hours. It is also a nice spot to begin hiking tours in the apuanian alps and the serchio valley. We didn´t miss anything within the two weeks and the guidance and help of Alessandra made everything easy an comfortable. Thanks a lot.

Maison magnifique à louer pour famille et amis

Nous avons passé une semaine mémorable dans cette splendide maison, spacieuse, très bien équipée, située dans un endroit tranquille, avec une vue magnifique sur la Toscane et aussi assez près des villes touristiques à visiter. J'aimerais remercier personnellement Alessandra Donati qui nous a accueilli très chaleureusement et nous a bien conseillé (ex: trouver des taxis pour un mariage à Lucca). Nous avons aussi pu profiter d'un cours de cuisine toscane à la villa, grâce à Alessandra. Toutes les personnes qui étaient avec nous loueraient cette maison, sans hésiter, lors d'un prochain voyage en Toscane. On en rêve encore!

Vacances de rêve

Notre plus beau séjour en italie. Maison extraordinaire: confortable, spacieuse, propre, bien équipée. La route à partir de Ponte à Moriano monte en une série de lacets étroits (extrèmement étroits) mais on s'y fait. La vue et la maison compensent largement ce petiti inconvénient. Rien à redire, on y retourne !

Satisfaits !

Appartement très bien situé. C'était très agréable de pouvoir se balader dans Lucca et revenir se reposer à l'appartement. Certaines nuits, les chambres étaient très confortables car calmes mais le restaurant du coin de la rue est malheureusement parfois bruyant ! Les clients viennent fumer et discuter dans la rue ... A part cela c'était super ! Beaucoup apprécié le joli bouquet du jardin de Donatella.

A kind of paradise!

We rented the full house for the ten of us (4 adults and 6 children) in august 2013. We all spent 2 wonderful weeks in this place! The view from the house is just wonderful. All equipments needed to spend good time on holidays are there, especially the kitchen was a great place to cook italian food! The materials in the house are typical and the decoration is really nice. The neighbors were also really kind with us. We have so enjoyed going at the river to swim almost everyday in the fresh water and play in the waterfalls! The area is absolutely great with a lot of wonderful things to see and do and so is this house. A kind of paradise in Toscane! Thanks to Alessandra, Margherita and Judith.
