Lake St.Clair Canal Home w/Pontoon/Jet Ski's Perfect for Families/Fishermen

This Home has what you need to enjoy Lake St. Clair! First, toys! We have a 13 passenger pontoon boat, jet skis, (promise 1, usually 2) . We've also added a floating dock for the jetskis, Four 10 ft kayaks, and a canoe is there for your enjoyment.(note you need to have a watercraft safety license to drive the boat and jetski-from Michigan or your state or province) Second- Plenty of Parking- a rarity on the water. Easily accommodate 8 vehicles or trailers. Third, the water- a boat well, and 55'of seawall to tie up to. There is a boat launch less than 1 mile away at the Fair Haven DNR site. You are close to the St Clair Flats, the largest fresh water delta in the world, and if you explore it, you'll understand why some call Algonac "the Venice of North America". Many bays are nearby, a great place to hang out, and restaurants that you can take a boat, dock and dine. The ST John's Marsh is nearby, a great place to see wildlife and waterfowl. We prefer check ins on any day other than Sunday, but we do accommodate .

The home is 2000 sq. foot and has many recent updates- sprinklers, new large fully equipped granite kitchen with new black stainless appliances. Fully equipped kitchen means, a performance blender to make your smoothies, a Keurig for your coffee, hot chocolate and tea, along with a crock pot, dual deep fryer, hotel style waffle maker, food processor, Kitchen Aid mixer, toaster, and stainless steel pots and pans. New hardwood floors, laundry room off kitchen with new washer and dryer. Central Air, a deck, fire pit and Barbecue grill, griddle, smoker and a turkey fryer along with power at the water. Bedrooms are as follows, Master Bdrm has lake view and 1 king, 2nd Bdrm has 1 queen and 1 full size sofa couch, 3rd Bdrm 1 queen and 4th Bdrm 2 bunks- 1 full and 3 twin. Sleeps 12 with out using Living Room or floor! There are 2 full Bathrooms.

All bedrooms have 40 " flat screen and 55" 4k flat screen in Living Room. Internet and Streaming tv. Beautiful sunset over the water and swimming behind the house. A great place for FISHING-perch/pickerel/walleye/trout/salmon/bass and sturgeon! ALSO, IF YOU HAVE YOUR OWN BOATS AND DON'T NEED OUR WATERCRAFT, IN SEASON RATE IS $390.00/night. OFF SEASON RATE $200/night as of October 1st-April 30th and no boat or jetski as they will be winterized.

IF YOU NEED ADDITIONAL ORIENTATIONS, THERE IS A $100.00 FEE. BEST TO HAVE "ALL" YOUR GUESTS ARRIVE AT THE SAME TIME AND YOU WILL NOT INCUR ANY ADDITIONAL ORIENTATION FEES.

NOTE: We pull all watercraft out of the water from October 1st to May 1st, so they will not be available during this time period.

Great family vacation.

Great place to stay on the water. Everything you need for a fun family vacation. As a grandpa of several teenagers the jet skis keep the kids entertained, allowing me to take advantage of the outstanding fishing. Although the check in process is a little long Mark and Joyce are great hosts taking the time to make sure everyone was comfortable operating the equipment. Already looking foward to next year. Thank you for a memorable vacation.

Great Family Fun

Owner Mark and his wife Joyce are super friendly. They shared with us sights to see and places to eat, such as a delicious carryout restaurant. Mark's detailed orientation for the pontoon boat and jet skis was helpful, and we appreciated that he acted quickly when we encountered a jet-ski issue that was our fault. He is a very patient and kindhearted gentleman. The house is in good condition and has more than enough room to accommodate several adults and children. The kitchen and dining area are quite spacious. The house is located on a peaceful canal from which you can see the lake. The neighbors were friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing lake home!

We had a great time at this wonderful lake home! The lake is beautiful and had very little traffic. There was a ton of space on the water to ride the jet skis and drive the pontoon. We loved that the lake had spots where the depth was less than 4 feet. The huge mat was so much fun when we hooked it up to the back of the boat and the kids just played on it for hours. The canal at the house was about 4.5 feet deep so adults could traverse it easily and kids could swim right off the yard! The house is old but very charming! There were tons of amenities!!! They have really thought of everything. The fact that this house had a boat and two jet skis was the selling point! Mark and Joyce were very thorough I. Their boat and jet ski instructions and house tour. Recommend arriving with plenty of daylight so you have ample time to do the water toy orientation. The street the house is on is quiet and private. The yard was good for spreading out to fish. Had a wonderful stay!!!

Great location right by the water to boat out onto the lake for fishing. Plenty of space for large groups (ours was 8). Several nice restaurants nearby. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area!

Amazing Stay!!!

Mark and Joyce are wonderful host. They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable with all the water toys and needs you might have. Everyone in our group had a great stay from all ages. House is fully stocked with everything you need for meals and grilling. We will definitely be coming back to see the most beautiful sunset we have ever seen. Family reunion

We weren't expecting anything fancy. The size of the house and accommodations were adaquate. The main reason we booked this house was for the boats. That really made our gathering fantastic. Our hosts Mark and Joyce were wonderful too. They met us personally when we got there and even helped me unload all my food from the car! They went above and beyond to respond to every need and answer every question. I would book with them again.

Enjoyed use of the pontoon, jetskis and kayaks. Beautiful lake with canal access. Property was well supplied, but is an older home. Owners were very helpful and available. Would recommend having some boating experience. Overall we had a great time!

Inglenook on Lake St Clair

Our 10 day vacation was wonderful! This 4 bedroom home is spacious and so very well equipped. All 8 of us were very comfortable. The location on a short canal off of the lake is great with so many watercraft to enjoy the lake and adjoining marshes. The landlords Mark and Joyce could not have been more friendly, attentive and cooperative!

Great Getaway

From renting to checkout, the process was simple. 10 of us stayed here age 7+. Marc and Joyce are absolutely wonderful hosts! They’re very fast at getting back with you. Super knowledgeable about the area. The orientation for the pontoon and jet skis was easy and painless. It definitely got us all more comfortable with the equipment. I only had one issue the whole week with the jet ski (my fault weeds got stuck in the intake) Marc and Joyce was there within 30 minutes to help us solve the issue. House: the location is perfect! You can watch the sunset at the end of the lane and it’s a breathtaking view. The canal was wide enough to easily navigate through with the pontoon, jet skis and our own fishing boat. The house came fully equipped and when I say that, I mean it. They had all the essentials plus some! They provided so much more compared to other rentals we’ve had. Kitchen is very spacious. Plenty of dining room seating. Plenty of couches for family movie night. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of sheets/blankets available. The room with the couch is the warmest room in the house, nothing a fan didn’t fix. The yard is spacious enough for yard games and kids running around. Fishing: The kids (7,8 &9) had a blast outback fishing. We caught so many bluegill and their beds are right in front of the house. On the lake we wasn’t able to catch much. We used wax worms and night crawlers all week. We was able to catch a few bass too. Would highly recommend!
